| I dont know why Bubba would even want to sell that shirt,it has nothing to do with his show and dont the back of the shirt have Bubba The Love Sponge on it.Dosnt he have enough phrases that he can put on shirts.Besides the profit that they will make on them Howard spends that in a day so why would he care that they are selling them.I just think it makes Bubba look desprite and gready. |

| I think this time Bubba was wrong, with all the people who came in and told Howard went down, and yeah Howard said they could sell em but couldn't be more not happy about it, so I doubt we'll see them put back up...at least it'd be smarter to just take the loss instead of pissing him off more |

OK, the way my work schedules been, I havent had a lot of time to hear Bubba and I never listen to Howard, but why is this such a big deal? Its not like its one of Howards sayings or something. It was a comment, made by a drunk employee, at a "party."
Or am I missing a crucial piece of info? |

Bubba was under the impression that he had the green light to do the shirt. Should he have done due diligence by checking with Howard first? Absolutely. Is Ronnie blameless? Absolutely not. Is there any harm done? Not in the least.
Ronnie's getting some residuals from this shirt, so that oughta at least take the sting out of his pussy a little bit. Bubba probably thought he was paying homage to the guy and never dreamed of the backlash that would follow. Nevertheless, what's done is done. FYI, the shirt is back on sale on the site. |

Howard said go ahead, and they also said it was OK on the wrap-up show. The shirts as mentioned are back up online on BTLS.com
And as Richard said where can you wear this shirt... ? Can't waer it in the mall or around town. It's considered profanity and you can get a ticket in some communities. Doesn't mean I don't like and agree with the statement. |

| It's Howard's 2 channels 100 and 101 it's supposed to be a family. We all want to see our family members succeed right? Bubba is a prat of Howard's family. Well LFSW is a novelty shirt kind of like your shirts with fake tux on the front. So either support Howard's family which includes the BRN or get the hell off SFN. |

Personally, I would never wear a shirt that said "fuck" or "whores" on it, but if there's a market for those types of shirts, then sell the shit out of them.
I think it's kind of weird, or ironic, how Howard doesn't let people express their marketability. By that, I mean how Howard vetoes certain bits, CD's, and sales.
Didn't the controversial ways of Howard keep him a hidden commodity for years when he first started in radio? He wanted to do certain things, but people above him kept vetoing his bits. Now, he has that power of veto, and is in the position of those people who kept him down for so long.
But how do you argue with the "King of all Media"? |

That was Ronnie's catchphrase way before Bubba's wedding. It was first spoken by a drunken Ronnie while he was on camera with Doug Goodstein at Howard's birthday party. |

| I created this thread when Howard first learned of the t-Shirt on his show and his first reaction was pure disgust. I think Howard understands Bubba needs to suplement his income so he will let this incident slide. I also think Bubba learned his lesson.... |

| i am actually happy that howard isn't trying to market and sell everything. i know he markets howard tv, but at least he isn't putting his name on 5000 shirts, mud flaps, necklaces, panties, etc. i understand that bubba doesn't earn the same salary as howard though and needs to look at other avenues for making more $$$. |

I understand and accept that Bubba, unlike Howard, needs to supplement his income by selling T-shirts and what not. However, I really don't get the LFSW t-shirt. As was mentioned, it's not a Bubba-show related slogan, nor is it humorous or even creative for that matter. Whatever, I guess some people will purchase them...
As for Howard, I have always respected that he hasn't created some "Howard Stern Online Store" that sells fucking pens, coffee mugs, golf balls, etc. like many people have done (Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh are two of many such persons that come to mind).
Am ready for the Bubba Box Set to come out though.... |
