"Credit cards used to pay for such services? If so a refund could be requested from the credit card company, to many "charge backs" can cause the processor to either raise the fee's, or drop the account all together.
My question is, does the Internal Revenue Service know of the Income generated from the site and is it reported? If the IRS were to get numerous complaints of such activity they may investigate. We all know how good that worked out for Cabbie.
Also PayPal does not allow Adult content to be paid for using there service. Below are there terms of use that may relate to the other place.

I don't see SFN in a war with anyone currently... BTLS.net thinks that they're in a war with SFN, but thats just 3 or 4 people trying to make something from nothing. BTLSfannetwork.com is a collection of some people from this site, from some other sites, just chilling out, talking about the show.

I actually have an account there so I know what's going on. I wish they'd grow the site organically and forget SFN exists. Linking to it in the SFN listening thread isn't going to go over well. Same with posting shitty photochops of Mutt and Boots. Do your thing and move on. A few over there have a bitterness for SFN way before Bubba was on Sirius and it will probably get to the same point the Pirate Stern board vs SFN did. Enjoy the ride. |

So if you're so concerned with the well being of SFN, why even raise a concern over it? If SFN's been through all these "wars" in the past and come out on top, why care? Its obvious this forum is going to be the Alpha Dog as far as stern fan boards go. So don't sweat it. Relax guy, have a drink. |

how do you figure. that looks like plotting to me. it's a list of 4 - 5 ways that they could try and cause trouble for me. why do people have to battle with us. are we doing something to them? people are such haters. some fans they are.
this place is setup to support the shows and the fans. whatever evil way they want to spin it, it's still the truth. this isn't a business. I'm sure some else could figure out how to make money with the kind of traffic that we generate but that's not what I do. I have a business that takes up most of my time and I can't be bothered with finding sponsors. I consider us luckly that we bring in enough to cover the expenses of hosting something this large. you have no clue what traffic like this costs. we have over 20 million page views from over 750,000 unique visitors each month. you have nothing to compare it to.
due to how high our expenses are, imonkey inc has to pay taxes quarterly. anyone who tries to claim we don't pay taxes is just plain foolish. the host, paypal, google, commission junction, and dream tank all file taxes. how does anyone thing we wouldn't have to. it's not like this is a cash under the table business. everything is electronic. what kind of retard thinks we run all this and don't have to report to uncle sam? if we weren't paying, do you really think you'd have to let them know? they'd have be knocking on the door years ago.

Mutt, as much as I think you've made some shady decisions for who your main moderators are (Not anyone on the Bubba side, its the General Chat that I can't go to without fear of being sent to TO because Boots dosen't like the way his cat farted that day, and he's going to take it out on me); I understand fully about starting, running, and operating a business from scratch. So I do sympathize with you there, and even though I don't agree with some of the decisions you've made with this site, I want it to be public knowledge that I'd never try to shut down a business just because of some silly little in-fighting. That's not on my tab man, so you can quit thinking that I'm trying to bring anything down.

Mr. Tuscson, I see your point- but also I counter with this. Having been a long time poster on SFN before it blew up to what it is today, I can tell you that many of us respect and admire Bubba and all that is Bubba. I think Bubba has a thicker skin and can dish the heat on the return much harsher and faster than Howard can. Howard is great and we love him, but he is no where near the relevant to the times as Bubba is- simply put, Bubba is in our age group and Howard loves the Beatles- who gives a fuck about the Beatles? Not me. So please don't get into a pissing match with the mods or with the 212 group- it's not called Gen Shat for no reason.

the staff does an excellent job. what they don't do is ban ever person who has a negative thing to say. not everyone needs to be 100% super fan. casual fans are welcome too. it's the people just being dickheads that we need to deal with. regular fans aren't going to like everything all the time. some days they are mad at the show and others they love it. you guys act like we moderate the howard forum differently than the bubba forum. you couldn't be further from the truth. this is how we moderate both. what was different was the way knot did it. it may have been what you wanted, but it was too harsh. people need to be able to express their opinions. this isn't some private little club.
as for single standard, is there some name that people use just to try and hurt Bubba and when Bubba gets called it, he's very insulted? if so let me know what it is and I'll add it to the instant asshole keyword list. as far as i know there's nothing like that. stop crying about it. have you looked in the howard forum? it's full of people bitching about howard. the single standard is that people bitch throughout the site. before when they'd bitch in here, knot would kill the thread,& the account. it's not the way we do it. he was the one not following the single standard. if you weren't so busy trying to convince yourself that this forum gets shit on, you'd realize just how wrong you are. this forum was over moderated. if you want heavy moderation, you know where to go to get it.
