Rep. Don Young attacked his fellow Republicans on the House floor Wednesday, as he defended education funds allocated to his home state of Alaska.

"You want my money, my money," Young stridently declared before warning conservatives that "those who bite me will be bitten back."

Young took extreme exception to an amendment by Rep. Scott Garrett (R-N.J.) to strike money in a spending bill for native Alaskan and Hawaiian educational programs.

Term limits TODAY !!!!

Here are a bunch more examples of why we need term limits... (offenders from both sides of the ailse....mostly proportional to who is in charge. R's got more pork spending when they were running things, D's do now....) Its why drastic change in Washington is needed.

One of the most egregious examples though goes to Charlie Rangel..D NY. (however, I am sure there are others from both parties)

Quote: The list of requested earmarks in congressional appropriations bills this year runs to hundreds of pages, and will take the better part of an hour to download all the requests, even with a fast Internet connection.

Tucked away in this year's labor and health bill is two million dollars sought by New York Democrat, and House Ways and Means Chairman Charlie Rangel. The beneficiary would be the City College of New York to establish the "Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service." That's right — he wants us to pay for a building named in his honor.

Republicans tell opinionjournal.com they will target the request for criticism during the coming days — but it's worth noting members so far have rejected only one of the hundreds of earmark requests by politicians of both parties.

HOLY SHIT!!! NCMike and Sir Ass Boil on the page.

I thought I felt the Earth stop moving for a second.

Term limits would be the best thing for our country.

In the courts as well, this judge for life is bullshit.

If we could just get both parties to agree that if Hillary drops out of politics so will all of the many Bushs out there. I shudder to think of the possibility that we could have 8 more years of Clintons followed by 8 of some Bush. (not likely, but possible.)

I need to go to bed and stop indulging in mind altering substances unless Ass Boil, Mike, and SVDT all just agreed to something.

I might have just pissed my pants I'm so delusional.

This is somthing the left and the right needs to get together on, get term limits and then we could have people that give a shit about our country voting for us.

Not to dog out the Dems, but do you think Kennedy or Kerry know what the common woman or man wants our Gvt to do?

These assholes that get elected over and over again from the small states that are put in power over elected officials that have bigger pops because the are senior, Bullshit.
