King Of All Blacks was supposed to take his spot tonight but he never showed up. High Pitch I think was already gonna be on the show to celebrate his 10 year anniversary of being involved with the Howard Stern show. |

I agree. It wasnt even so bad that it was funny. It was so bad I faintly heard the sound of swithing stations all across the world.
Not even trainwreck worthy. pretty horrible. and you're right, unlistenable

Pretty much. The only time he really woke up was when he got a couple of callers giving him shit. Other than that, him being there was uneventful. |

| It seems kind of funny to me that Mutt has always defended Joey's actions here as what you would expect from a self admitted, mentally unbalanced "Whack Packer" but then criticizes him for being unprofessional. The show is partially a goof, is it not? Its supposed to be fun, a show for super fans to talk shit, it seems like its taking itself a little too serious. :rolleyes: The strong opinionated guest was missing tonight. |

Mutt wasn't getting any support from the panel....either they were nervous or came unprepared ...even if KOAB showed..he would have "bogarted" the show only because no one was talking....and the fans would be critical of his input....you can't win ..nothing could have saved the show tonight..(unless maybe Ralph calling in)...Mutt should have called in some emergency reinforcement.... :giggle: grabbed someone..anyone....an Intern walking by the studio!!!!! he needed a lifeline and no one helped him.....
BoneHead64...give it another try next week....usually the hour flys so fast we wish it was a 2hr.show!!!! and the lines are so busy you can't get thru (tonight a caller got thru twice in 15mins...!!!!!

what a bad start.
1st, we had no strong opening topic. nothing. I was preoccupied all week with Joey Boots nonsense and had zero topics prepared for last nights show. I wanted to do another all caller show (cause I had nothing) but Jason really didn't want to do it 2 weeks in a row. Jason & I put these topics together Thursday but I really didn't like any of them. the brainstorming thread is really where we get all the topics and this weeks one had nothing but Boots talk.
on top of that, I didn't even want to do the show. the Boots crap just took the life out of me. it really fucked up my whole week.
the #1 main thing that fucked up last nights show was all the drama Joey caused. you really sabotaged me & the show. you can say I'm full of if ya want but I'm telling you the truth. it was a huge headache for me and i didn't even want to be there last night becasue of it.
then king pulled a no show. he's already missed 2 shows and was told by jason that if pulled a no show this time he was done. sucks to have to cut him off but him not showing up tonight threw off the whole panel. it's true that we can't have 2 boisterous panelists but not having one at all is way worse.
then they played the wrong intro to the show. we didn't even know if we were on air or not. it totally threw things off
then all the lights went out. I was like, what the fuck is going on?
I bailed on that first segment as soon as I could. I figured we'd have to regroup. i've done it before when the show has opened weak. still by then, everything was fucked up.
at least the last segment was fun. Howie's Choice went really well and I'm thrilled with how the show ended. that was a topic that really made people think and caused a discussion. thanks Matty, IMHO it saved the show. |

Don't get yourself down and out. Let's face it... It was a boring week in house, good to hear them live but not alot of controversy.
Your a stand up guy... Howard personally thinks you are the best man for the job.
HPE doesnt add much on his own, but he did have some funny moments.
It was a good show, just not the best. And you can't be blamed by the poor start. Jason will have to tighten the screws on the board op's!
Glad to add to the show, always hear to help.
Boots... Man up and apologize to Mutt. Yes it sucks that Jason wants to cut back on your apperences, but you are a long time guest on the SFRT and we all like hearing your voice. THAT HAS NOT AND WILL NOT CHANGE, My friend. Mutt is your amigo and he needs some support from you....... as he has supported you in the past i am sure. |

I missed the first 10 or 15 minutes of the show but the rest sounded great to me. Mutt you were your usual enthusiastic self, eric was funny fighting with the caller, the scores thing was a good topic and of course the ending was strong. Dont beat yourself up over things you cant control like technical glitches and guests not showing up. |

what a bad start.
1st, we had no strong opening topic. nothing. I was preoccupied all week with Joey Boots nonsense and had zero topics prepared for last nights show. I wanted to do another all caller show (cause I had nothing) but Jason really didn't want to do it 2 weeks in a row. Jason & I put these topics together Thursday but I really didn't like any of them. the brainstorming thread is really where we get all the topics and this weeks one had nothing but Boots talk.
on top of that, I didn't even want to do the show. the Boots crap just took the life out of me. it really fucked up my whole week.
the #1 main thing that fucked up last nights show was all the drama Joey caused. you really sabotaged me & the show. you can say I'm full of if ya want but I'm telling you the truth. it was a huge headache for me and i didn't even want to be there last night becasue of it.
then king pulled a no show. he's already missed 2 shows and was told by jason that if pulled a no show this time he was done. sucks to have to cut him off but him not showing up tonight threw off the whole panel. it's true that we can't have 2 boisterous panelists but not having one at all is way worse.
then they played the wrong intro to the show. we didn't even know if we were on air or not. it totally threw things off
then all the lights went out. I was like, what the fuck is going on?
I bailed on that first segment as soon as I could. I figured we'd have to regroup. i've done it before when the show has opened weak. still by then, everything was fucked up.
at least the last segment was fun. Howie's Choice went really well and I'm thrilled with how the show ended. that was a topic that really made people think and caused a discussion. thanks Matty, IMHO it saved the show. |
you should have addressed it as a topic last night then......people were tuned in to find out more and The HOWARD 100 News even did lead-ins for it and you guys dropped the ball by not confronting it...........yes the roundtable is about THE SHOW and that was very much a topic of discussion on THE SHOW this week that the wrapup and intern shows did not cover so therefore it hasn't been overanalyzed such as Robins dating Jim Florentine........oh and to schedule in my place someone like koab who has consistantly blown off the roundtable when scheduled was a poor move........wish i could say good things pal but i truly and honestly can't. :hw: |

I thought it got better as the show went along. Not only did KOAB handicap you, so did HPE. Sorry, but please don't put him on again. He parrots what the other panel members say on every subject. It's like listening to a first grader commenting on the show. I felt like you basically had 2 panel members missing. I'm sure the other stuff happening doesn't help. I look forward to the next 2 weeks of panelists. Looks pretty good. |

I know you went to the news and tried to make it a big topic but it was nothing. it's already been address by me & jason on the H100 news & I talked to Howard about it. it was a non-story. what's there to discuss other than you made a big deal out of nothing and threw a good friend under the bus in the process. i have no interest on battling with you. if you don't like how I host, go pitch a new show to Tim. Maybe they'll give you the SFRT wrapup show in the Thursday midnight slot. you could do a 1 hour show telling people what I did wrong. then they could give Doc the SFRT wrapup wraup show where he tells people what you did wrong. |

thanks, i just listened to it and it was a good show. I might not have felt good about it last night but hearing it back now it was good stuff. not the best one we've ever done but certainly not the worst. looks like I was just being hard on myself.
as for high Pitch, I like goofin on Eirc when he just repeats shit. it's fun. he's not someone we want to have on a lot and he's certainly not someone to fill the confident, opinionated, very vocal seat, but he's good for the occasional visit. sometimes he's actually had some good input.
I like to have 1 strong guest / stern show regular, 1 woman, 1 fan who's done the show before and been good, and 1 brand new fan. we try to stick to this format each week.
this week we actually had 5 guests booked just encase King dropped the ball again. Jason made it clear that if he blew us off this time, we wouldn't be booking him again. it was his last chance. not sure why joey's making such a big deal about it as if we dropped the ball for giving him 1 last chance. just trying to make something out of nothing again. it's not like Joey's never slept thru the show and not made it in. we gave him another chance. |

as someone who has listened to the show from its beginning..I would say the show wasnt that bad..not talking about the Joey issue was probably better..why give it more attention.next week will be better with or w/o Joey..IMO |
