Anyone else having this problem? I'm on RR cable so I dont' think it's on my end, but my stream on the Sirius widget keeps cutting out, sometimes it says "buffering" but sometimes it thinks it's still streaming but nothings happening. If I hit "play" again it starts back up. Really annoying. Seems like it happens a lot more since the newest widget upgrade.

Same problems here, I'm getting every imaginable error on the widget - channel not found, endless buffering, cutting out, login failed, etc. Also having the same issues with the online Sirius player and the Howard Stern Media Player.

Same here in NYC...

It's weird, 2 days ago it worked fine for me all day long, but then yesterday it started buffering and cutting out again. This is with the widget. Anyone try the Sirius player, or Howards? From the number of replies I'd say most people aren't having a problem.

Hi!

Over the last few days I have been unable to get the Sirius player to work. Everytime I get it loaded it just say connecting... and never goes any further. When I hit Ctrl+Alt+delete it says it's not responding. It was working fine last week and before I had no problems. Does anyone know what I might need to do? I have the best media player for my operating system and I also have Flash Player installed. Like I said it was working last week.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Same here with the "buffering" issues just outside of Toronto, Ontario Canada.

I'm curious as to whether or not paying the extra $3 US (I have a US subscription) for the higher quality streaming feed will alleviate those problems.

RR cable here, 128k sub, and yes it's been cutting out. Hopefully they will beef up their servers.

Road Runner with 128K upgrade too - since yesterday afternoon the feed as been cutting out every 5 minutes or so - sometimes for lengthy periods - I've tried 3 apps: Firefox's Sirius plugin, Sirius' pop-up on their site and PGH's Sirius Player - happens with them all.

F'ing annoying as hell.

I've given up and have just been downloading Bubba on torrents. I hope they get this shit worked out before Howard gets back

I called Road Runner (Time Warner Cable) to complain and they informed me that if I have a router or hub, that I should reboot it (unplug it and the cable modem for 10 seconds) - apparently they made some modifications to their system and a rebooted hub is necessary in some cases to make everything work properly.

Sure enough, as soon as I plugged back in and reconnected to the net, Sirius has been working without a hitch for a few hours.

I had a forced re-boot on Friday because we had a power outage for about 4 hours after a big storm, I'll have to try the online feed again and see if it's working better now.
