I have the cardock with the Sportster R in my car right now.

The new car is already hardwired for Sirius :dancin:

I don't need to get a NEW subscription, do I???

How do i activate my account into my new car?

I'm probably going to keep my cardock for the house.....OR buy a boombox to put it in.

Many times, you get one year free of Sirius when purchasing a new vehicle with Sirius in it. But, if you're already a member, perhaps not. Talk to the dealer about that.

This guy I work with recently leased an '08 Mercury Mariner, the dealer activated the radio and told him it was good for the length of the lease, 3 years. He even called Sirius with the information and they gave him an online account also. SO I guess it depends what car you are actually getting and how the car company deals with Sirius. Get all that taken care of before you leave the dealership, I bet if you drive off and come back a week later you'll get the run around from the dealer. You'll get some of that world famous after the sale customer service.

thanks guys!

The car dealers/manufacturers set their own deals on how much or little service comes with the SIRIUS Service.

If you want to keep your Sportster going then you will need to add on to your account, which is $6.99 per month. Otherwise if you gave up the Sportster you could simply call and have the service switched over from the the Sportster to the new car.
