I think guys like Hal and TT will appreciate the astrological elements of the beginning. It's a long, dense documentary and it jumps very quickly from one topic to another, but it's worth the effort, if for nothing else than the first part, which is fucking fascinating.
Please have patience and try not to dismiss it out of hand. If you just want to get to the best part of the doc first, forward to about minute 10 and hold on to your belief systems, the shit is very interesting.
