the truth of the matter is that Mexico is so dangerous, especially in the big cities, that I haven't gone back in 6 years, and I used to go multiple times a year.
my uncle runs a large manufacturing plant outside of Mexico City and he has to have an armed escort because they've tried to kidnap him twice. there is an attorney my firm works with down there and he's actually been in kidnapper custody three times and had to pay at leat $150,000 each time.
the drug violence has gotten so bad down there that South Central has now become a MUCH safer place to live than in Mexico, where drug lords decapitate babies and murder Police Chiefs with impunity.
these people are VERY family-oriented, much moreso than people in America. they're not happy to leave.
they come here for free healthcare? bullshit. they have free healthcare in Mexico and that's the single and only part of the Mexican gov't that actually functions well.
and you idiots don't know much about welfare, because you can't get it if you're an illegal, dumb fucks. and even if you could it would be substantially less than an amount of money that you need to live off of. |

I didn't do anything. AT LEAST 2 different people who served in the military brought up the fact that posting her picture COULD put her in danger. It is not up to your stupid ass to decide whether or not someone "who was a threat" would see it or not. That is not for you to decide.

As far as what our jobs are worth, all I can speak for is myself, and I gotta tell ya from hauling paper towels on a 53 foot trailor, to hauling a backhoe on a 48 foot drop-deck flatbed and almost everything in between, to now hauling mostly Doubles and triples 55-60 hours a week im worth every fucking dime they give me,and Ive worked my ass of to gain the experience to get to the wage I recieve, and also to work for one of hardest companies to get hired onto full time.

As I've said may times, I live in a fairly rural area of Upstate NY... our Spanish speaking population is barely larger than our Tagalog, or Bantu speaking population; yet it seems very important that our children start learning Spanish? I have no problem with children being bi-lingual, but why are we actively moving toward Spanish? I think the answer is obvious... so that WE can assimilate to what our government has in store for us... paving the way for a North American Alliance... |

The idea is to keep people busy with wedge issues like Illegal Immigration while the Democrats and Republicans pretend it's such a large issue and fight it out, people will be distracted and won't see them trucking in thousands of Illegals right under our noses at the border. The Department of Transportation has established a pilot program to allow Mexican trucks to operate anywhere in the United States . I am opposed to this program because of the lack of rigorous safety standards for many Mexican trucks and the border security issues it raises.
Earlier today, I supported legislation sponsored by my colleague, Senator Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota) that would cut off funding for this program and bar the Bush Administration from moving this measure forward. This amendment passed the Senate by a vote of 74 to 24. You can count on my continued opposition to allowing Mexican trucks to operate on America 's roads.
