| It would be a nice sign of "progress" if after more than 4 1/2 years of fighting in Iraq W didn't have to sneak into Iraq, (and not even go to Baghdad, it's too dangerous) for a bullshit photo op that has absolutely nothing to do with what is going on in the country. Chickenhawk George would get some credit if he announced a trip ahead of time and flew into Baghdad International in BROAD DAYLIGHT to show he is actually "standing up" to/against (?) someone. Instead, he and his lackeys pay off the tribal elders in the Sunni triangle, re-engage former insurgents, look the other way as Shiite militias with Iranian ties take over Basra and call it "success." |
