| This is the third time my power adapter has broken and all I did was touch it a little. Trying to turn the volume up and hit the thing a little and the cap at the top breaks off. 3rd time this has happened and I'm sick of buying a brand new car kit that costs 40 bucks for just the adapter. Looking at buying from TSS Radio as it looks like it is a lot cheaper and just wanted to know how reliable they are and how long it takes for it to be delivered. I'm sure this has happened to other people and if you got any solutions tell me. I know most of you guys will call be a dumb ass for breaking it, but in reality I didn't do anything really that should have made it break. Sirius needs to make these dam things better instead of breaking by a little touch. |

We ship the same day, unless it's a Pro-Fit VSM. But most places from Chicago, IL are 2-3 Business Days. The West Coast is about 4-5 Business Days.
Ultimately SIRIUS itself should be replacing the 5V Power Adapters. There was a defective batch and more or less should be replaced by them. |

dont know if this belongs here but maybe a good place to start.
i had the s50 and loved but the car adapter kept coming up antenna not detected so i went to circuit city and good thing i had the extended warranty on it they had to upgrade to the stilleto. well the car adapter is doing the same thing now. i know the antenna is good cause it will work fine then all of a sudden i get the msg. anyone know anything about this?? |
