| ...because in 18 months since i've had this thing i've been through 3 antennas and now the port that holds the radio only works in the mornings when it's cool. in the afternoons and evenings i get "antenna not detected". but they kept me by promising to give me a new radio at no charge. we'll see....... |

These "early era" receivers are pretty much disposable. I am on my third unit since Dec. 2004.
Sirius is still well worth it! |

| yeah, i'd heard there were lots of problems with the Sportster which is why they no longer make them. but christ, i feel i sould get more than 18 months out of the damn thing no matter what |

| well i had the new one put in today. they sent me the Sirius InV. is it a good one? (really...are any of them good?) it's great they sent me a new one but i still had to shell out for installation and a bracket so i wouldn't have to put another shitty suction cup on the window. if i were smart i'd have demanded credit on my account to cover the added expense |

| I have a sportster that I bought for my dad that has never worked. He won't call Sirius cuz he sez he hates to talk wth those fools. That all customer service ever sez is that it "should" be working. |
