That's right kids, the New York Jets, with flash and flair, along with the most popular sports figure of his time leading the way and guaranteeing a victory over the favored and beloved Colts in Super Bowl III, the AFC and NFL can thank the Jets. The Jets SHOCKED the world and put the AFL on the map, thus allowing both leagues to merge and form what we now know as the NFL. I mean, Broadway Joe Namath was the man, the first true SUPER STAR and without Joe and the Jets, maybe there is no AFC or NFL..

I came on board during the Walt Michael era after rooting for the Steel Curtain most of my youth. As the Jets improved with my favorite RB Freeman McNeil and who I felt was one of the most underrated TE Mickey Shuler,

along with Lance Mehl and the most famous D line ever, the Sack Exchange and I was hooked................. Mark Gastineau, Joe Klecko, Marty Lyons and Abdul Salaam

I gave up my season tickets in section 236, right above Fireman Ed during the Rich Kotie years but I am on the waiting list now for me and my kids...
So now you know the rest of the story, GOOD DAY

Yep, I was in with mky friend Bobby and that is right around when the Jets wanted you to buy the pre-season games too, he backed out and I was FUCKED!!!! We had awesome seats too, on the visitors sideline near the corner of the endzone, never got rained or snowed on, BUT, we never got any sun either. Right above Fireman Ed:

Jets are getting their OWN stadium now baby, well, they are sharing a NEW stadium with the Giants, so they won't be playing in Giants Stadium anymore. I was really pulling for the Jets to get that removable domed stadium on the West Side, but that fell through |

Most famous D-Line ever? Ha.
Let's just throw out three right off the top of my head: Steel Curtain, Purple People-Eaters, Fearsome Foursome. I'm sure there are others, but I will give them top-10 as far as fame goes. |

Notice how any team nuge is a fan of turns into a loser?
Talk about a curse. It's the curse of the nuger. :D
And funny how he had to make a big thread of his NFL coming out, what a fool. Next, he'll make a thread coming out of the closet as we all know how he salivates over Brady. |

| Wow what a fucking blowout! The game was not even as close as the score. The Jets D-line was so piss poor that Brady didn't have to throw one screen all day. Looks like the Jets will be fighting the fins for last place in the division. BTW the Jets coaching sucked also. |

Too bad they can't move to the NFC. There they'd be a playoff team every year at 8-8. |
