But it did provide HGH for such uses, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. Prosecutors did not identify any customers, other than to say that one athlete was "well-known" in Massachusetts, and that one "entertainer/athlete" who received it was 6-foot-5 and 276 pounds. It was not clear whether the two descriptions were of the same person.

A "high profile source" is saying that Google Inc. is on the verge of buying out Sirius Satellite Radio Inc., according to a blog posting on ClickZ News.
Hard to say anything else - as there's no other information - but the blog post does come from Zach Rodgers who's the Managing Editor for ClickZ (he's been with the company for over 6 years).
Just over a year ago, Google and XM inked a partnership to provide targeted ads to satellite radio subscribers. Is there a connection? Who knows, that's what makes "rumors" so much fun.

How bout that...one might assume Mel is working a back side deal here to become the president of Google entertainment. I have not clue if this is true or not but it does sort of sound similar to the Viacom deal he constructed. |

But Google is a huge company. I remember hearing it was worth more than 100 Billion dollars, but looking at the stock price, there are over 300 million shares at more than 500 dollars each, that works out to over 150 billion.

Google is a huge company, there is no doubt. Let's assume the XM merger doesn't happen and you are the Sirius CEO. Would you want a backup plan? What would it mean for your company if Google bought you out? That's a lot of bank for XM to compete with.
Another interesting note here. Google wants to rule the net. What are they lacking that Yahoo has. A media outlet. Yahoo has a lot of video…youtube…and internet radio…google…not so much. What if Google purchased SIRI and used their resources for a nice Internet Radio segway into the market? Google would also have the closest thing to a Testicle Radio company they can get on a large scale.
This could actually be the beginnings of the perfect storm for Google…much larger than a Sirius XM merger alone.
Of course this is all speculation. |

I was going to make a joke about Walmart buying out google after google bought out Sirius, but I just found that Googles market capitol is currently 172 billion, and Walmarts is only 180 billion.
I'd have thought walmart was worth a lot more than google, that suprises me - google is even more huger than I thought it was.
Sirius's market capitol is currently just under 5 billion. |

medical technician? hell no. I am a director and now have two areas I manage. In two seperate buildings on campus. I have to wear suits/dress professionally and look sharp. I am a medical professional of some type, but I prefer not too many details out there :)

Just to play Devil's Advocate, there could be language in Bubba's Sirius contract that states if he leaves Sirius he cannot defame or speak against Howard.

That actually makes alot of sense... I was told by a guy yesterday that Kurt was seen checking into the Hard Rock before the IFL event two days ago. Curious to see what they do with him. |

If Bubba stays with Sirius, just like he spoke of in his blog, he needs to be shown more respect.
He needs to be allowed to do, at least, what regular radio can do. No one died when he started on Sirius. No one died when he did these stunts on regular radio.
He got one lawsuit and all of this stuff happened. |
