Obviously the OP has no idea of how hard slander is to prove. And I heard the segment and there was no slander involved either. The bit was funny, she decided to go on air, she stayed long enough to get ribbed and she conveniently left just before the end of the show. No one had her tied to the chair or chained to the wall forcing her to stay. She knows 25 so she obviously should know what the show is about and how she would be treated if she went on air. They have to agree to go on air and sign a waiver to be in there, can't just walk off the street and go on. She and her friend knew exactly what they were in for when they showed up during broadcast hours and agreed to go on air. Sorry kiddo but it was great radio no matter what. And there is no way in hell that they could be sued for slander. Not to mention 25 started the somewhat racial type comments, after that is done the other are pretty much free and clear to go on. Now, next time you think someone can willy nilly sue for anything please learn what Slander and Defamation are. It is very difficult to prove either in a case and any lawyer would frown upon taking the case, unless it is written and you can prove you were hurt by it in some way and not just emotional. It would have to have caused you to lose money, job, anything tangeable. Believe me I have been slandered in the past but it did nothing to hurt me other than my feelings, which that was not even a problem.

And Howards show is partially scripted if you have not figured that out yet. They get together and discuss prior to the shows what is to go on during the shows. Apparently you missed the Iron Sheik and Bubba bit.

And yes they lured her in there. But she hangs with 25 so I am sure she is well aware of what going on the air with Bubba means. If she does not then she should have never came to the studio while on air. Not to mention that by asking if she is banging 25 is not exactly accusing her of anything. Yep. And about the only way she could get them for what they did today would be if her fiancee broke it off or she was fired for the bit. Even that would be hard to prove in any court. Judges do not hand out Guilty that easily in slander/defamation cases. It is supposedly one of the hardest to prove. Certain criteria have to be met before you can even start the case. And just being an asshole to someone on the radio is no tone of them. :p

I was pointing out you lack of knowing anything what so ever about slander. There is a difference between being a dick to someone and slander. Also since you seem to not be able to comprehend what you are reading or just like to ignore things in front of you. She obviously knew what she would be getting into by going on air. So she can not exactly turn around and bitch. She made two choices today, one to show up while they are on air and two to actually go on air and think none of that would have happened. To paraphrase Bubba, that's a "slippery slope" ... I personally felt uncomfortable with the various comments about having her show her tits and the offhand comments ... but at the same time, they were closer to the truth of the matter than any of the parties would care to admit at this time ... the fact that she was defensive from the get-go speaks VOLUMES about some sexual impropriety as far as her engagement with her fiance is concerned ... the first tell-tale sign that things were gonna go south was that 25's and Lauren's stories were polar opposite when she was asked whether she'd been to the studio before or not (she clearly had when she knew where the place was, and that in itself is a sticking problem that I 100% support Bubba on) ... if she had nothing to hide (i.e. nothing going on between her and 25), you don't answer with "my sex life is none of your fucking business" and then later hide your left hand when it's revealed that she's engaged ...

I do feel that they did go overboard with the "show us your tits" schtick ... for certain, the BRN has an ironclad case for destruction of private property (the destroyed video camera) ... as for the rest, as much as it was in poor taste, there's really not much that can be prosecuted if there's even one shred of truth, and if there is a smoking gun, she will not pursue a frivilous lawsuit ... in the end, she'd end up doing more harm than good to herself and her relationship with her fiance ...

But the question still remains ... why was her cell phone in 25's car if they were just "hanging out"? As I've insinuated, where there's smoke, there's fire ... and brother, they're breaking out the hot dogs and the marshmallows for this bonfire ...
