One guys lifting 2 1/2 pound weights, his workout routine is like a sweatin to the oldies routine. get it now? Little pedro never slapped the ball away from someone but he did throw an 80 year old man to the ground and did run away during the fight of 2004. |

If you had an 80 year old man coming toward you, to attack you, what would you do? If the 80 y/o man doesnt want to get into a fight or scuffle then maybe he should not come out of the dugout in attack mode...Even Zimmer admitted what he did was wrong. look at the pic, look at his girly arms. they are no more than 5-10 lb weights he is
lifting w/.
If an 80 year old man charge me i'd move out of the way, I wouldn't drive their head into the ground and if I was "tough" enough to do that i wouldn't have run into the clubhouse the next time we fought w/ that team.
Zimmer was wrong, so was pedro. Zimmer shouldn't have attacked pedro but pedro shouldn't have slammed Zimmer to the ground either. |

you are indeed correct..all he did was knock him down..THEN when he saw people coming at him of his own age..he ran and hid behind other sox players..of course the fact that pedro started the whole thing by throwing over a players head ( and wasnt thrown out of the game..note to MLB..on the pukelis /Joba deal) wouldn't come out in your comments..either way that was a looong time ago..and now pedro is pitching for the mets..hows that 4 year contract working out for the mets :D |

Actually with the luxury tax it came to 66 million. Is that the bargain price that makes you now feel better about this stiff?
Consider also that the Yanks had to re-teach him basic mechanics in single A and then it really hits home how fucked up that signing was. |

Well, first off, I'm not a red sox fan (unless they are beating the snot out of the Yanks) so I could give a shit what Dice K does. Secondly, he has 14 Wins. How many wins does Igawa have in the bigs? Say what you want but Dice has pitched close to 200 innings already and eaten up a lot of innings which is huge come this time of the year. Meanwhile, your guy has pitched 62 innings. No wonder your bullpen is so exposed. |

Wrong on facts again. THe Mets are at $115,231,663 so you are way off. Actually, if you look at the top 10 payrolls (see below), they are pretty much in line with the top 10. It's when you look at the Sox and Yanks that they are Waaaaaay off the charts.
