That's sweet. It's the only reason I keep the Antenna Headphones, put them in the window and plug in regular headphones as well.

Who would have thought 5 years ago we could listen to Stern Live 30,000 Feet Up over a place like Utah.

yeah but uh...isn't that completely illegal?

I don't think you are suppose to have any electronics on that send/receive a signal while in flight. I am going to break down and shell out the money for the S100. If there a car kit for it?

honestly, i'm not sure. but i think it's federal regulations that you're not allowed to have electronic devices that transfer date in the transmit mode on an airplane. i fly on average 4 or 5 times a month so it's pretty much ingrained in my brain not to have that stuff on...

i think what it does is interfere with the communications...so, if the pilots can't talk to air control, they could potentially collide with another airplane, and then, yes, it would fall out of the sky, and make for one hell of a story the next day on Howard..."passenger kills everyone so he could listen to Howard 100"

Did anyone hear the Robins News Story about a boy in Russia who was holding onto an Airplanes wings for Hundreds of Miles while Listening to the WiFi Feed of the Howard Stern Show on his Stiletto?

Just wasn't sure if I was the only one that heard that.

Technically, you cannot use a sattelite radio on an airplane, as it is now listed as a prohibited electronic instrument in most airline guides.

However, Myth Busters has proven that receivers do not, in fact, interrupt aircraft electonics, so go ahead and give it a try. The worst that can happen is they will ask you to turn it off. Most airline employess will probably think its just some kind of iPod anyway.

There is going to be something out for you in the future that will kick ass. It's basically like a kit that is perfect for the rental car situation with the Stiletto.
