When the Cowboys needed to throw to advance down the field, the Bills refused to cover their men
When the Cowboys needed to squib kick and reclaim the ball to try and march down the field, the Bills were happy to let them recover it
When the Cowboys needed to get just within field goal range so they could win the game, the Bills were plenty fine to allow them the opportunity
The Bills defense deserved to lose that game for the team, they played like utter garbage the last 2 minutes of the game, clearly you could tell they had NO CONCEPT that the Cowboys could actually come back from a defecit like they did.
I'm glad the Bills got fucking owned, they deserved it. However, the Cowboys looked utterly dismal the whole game. And if this is what we can expect from them during the Pats game, FORGET IT! The Pats will eat them alive. |

Exactly. There was no MONUMENTAL turn around in momentum. Plain and simple, the Bills Defense lost the game.
It was their game to win with over 4 minutes left.... and guess what, they decided to throw the game away.
*shrug* The Cowboys played with their same laziness on the field they did the whole game, the difference is the Bills Defense figured they had enough points that they could sit back and relax the rest of the game. |

While you are "mulling" that over, take a gander at this......
BEFORE the season started, I looked over both the Cowboys & Eagles schedule & I predicted that the Cowboys would go 10-6 ( splitting with the division & losing to Rams, Pats & Panthers ), while predicting that the Eagles would go something like 12-4 & winning the NFC East again. Still a long season & I've already been wrong on a few games so far this season so ANYTHING can still happen. I can look at my team & point out how POORLY they played last night & how their chances of beating the Pats this week looks pretty slim. You on the otherhand seem more concerned with us LOSING this weekend, than the Eagles winning. More consumed with talking shit about HOW the Eagles are gonna BEAT US both games & not on HOW they'll catch up with us to take over the Division. Gonna have to beat more teams that just US to do that & the Giants & Skins continue to get stronger. It's cool to be a Diehard fan but don't be so damn delusional. :hw: |

Whose delusional? As an Eagles fan, I too looked over the division and felt the Eagles would fall short to the Cowboys this year at the end. I believe the season will end with the Cowboys having a slightly better record than the Eagles, and the Giants and the Skins fighting for dead last.

The Eagles go to the playoffs a lot. They don't usually do much once they are there, but they usually go.
They also usually start lousy in the season and then ramp it up at the end.
If you want my honest opinion at the beginning of the season on wether or not they are going to go to the playoffs, I'd say yes.
But they haven't even played 5 games yet. So, whose to say? |
