Manson is NED...now whats the big deal??!?! There are two things that prove this:
- Manson leaves the studio whenever they have female guests in(oddly enough, "Ned" is never in the studio also when the chics are there)
- A caller from SFRT last nite talked about how someone called into Bubba and told manson and NED to talk to each other...at that point, you can hear Manson had a hard time doing it, but the weird thing is they went to commercial and after the break, Bubba told Ned and Manson to talk to each other and you can defiantly tell the Ned voices were "drops"/recordings(Ned's responses were ONE word)
Now you ask what about Bamboozlefest?? They either had Manson do a recording of Ned's act and the old dude went on stage and did a milli vanilli(lip sync) or Manson was in the back doing it LIVE while the old man lip synced it. Regarding this, you will have to ask someone that attended this event and see how the old man performed or the quality of his mic.

well, i wanted to hit me first to start the show off and give people a chance to call in. people always accuse me of sugar coating the show & the site becasue i'm a corporate stooge so it was a perfect one to hit and the only one that i really could definitively answer. i knew nobody would believe me but it had to be covered.
then I wanted to get to Ned while we still had bubba fans tuned in. the ned topic is always a hot one. people get all worked up and I'm always surprised that people don't know the real deal. it should be a no conspiracy issue but so many people feel that they figured out some secret info, it makes for a great conspiracy. plus, the bubba crew really plays into it. the ned calls were real funny and I had to use them. then to have bubba call in was a real treat. the phones were lit up with ned calls. it wound up eating up time. as for them never being in the room at the same time, they are actually both in there alot. i've even heard them both talk at the same time. one of the callers talked about it and said that ned sounded recorded during that segment.
by the time we got through those, I had tons to get to. I asked the panel which ons they wanted to hit & tried to go to those. hair was a biggie. i really thought someone would have jumped at the chance to talk shit concerning the video. i was shocked that everyone agreed that it looked real.
I was real disappointed not to cover billy & salaries. by the last break we were only going to have 8 minutes left. there was no way yo do either one justice. we have a great comment from booey & I have my own input from that when I tried to get billy to do the labor day kick off show. we only had billy's quotes from the paper. maybe we'll be able to get billy but I doubt it. those comments were made before the billy spotlight. he might not want to repeat them now. who knows though
by the way, at the bar after the show several people came up and asked me if ned was really fake or real. as much as people think everyone knows, they don't. there a certain amount of confusion there that leave people wondering. |

No no no, what I am saying is that on days Manson is on vacation, is late or calls in sick/emergency Ned is never in studio either.
It doesn't really matter though because the Ned character is funny as fuck. |

Yes, you are correct in that. Also whenever the gang does "LIVE REMOTE" shows, for some odd reason(lol), Manson and "Ned" are never there...and I guess one last thing to prove it, is to ask all the BubbaRaw subscribers? Do they ever show segments when Manson is in the studio? If so, is Ned aka old man in there also?

That and don't forget that the whole "Manson has to leave the room when strippers come in studio because Donna demands it of him" is a work (excuse) to keep people who aren't in the loop from seeing Manson do the Ned voice. It really is quite enjoyable. |

Anyone who thinks certain topics were missed on purpose needs to know how it went down. Mutt asked each one of us which topic on the list we definitely want to cover. The was what we started with. It wasn't like the ones we didnt get to were left off on purpose. Mutt was cool enough to let us pick our most wanted topics first.
I wish the show was 2hrs yesterday. We definitely could have hit everything. This was my 5th SFRT and this one flew by. I was shocked when we were already in the 2nd break. |

Here's a solution on the Bubba front:
Give him some Sirius stock options.
Howard cashed out more than $80M worth of his options on his first anniversary this year.
If they have "no more cash" for Bubba, why not let him buy the stock for 10 cents on the dollar (like Howard and Buchwald did) and then sell it a year later at full market value? |

As for the Howard 100 News staff, it was originally a good concept but like everything else on the channel, it eventually ate itself.
Ran out of topics.
Too repetitive.
Started concentrating on bit players (High Pitch Eric gets a job!) or irritating the staff (Robin and Benji clamming up about their relationships).
If Howard was pushed to choose between the news staff and Bubba, he would go with Bubba. No offense to Langford, Shuli, et al, but the ones with legit credentials can work elsewhere. Bubba provides 15+ hours of programming per week and fills in Friday mornings when Howard isn't on. So they are a higher priority. |

This is the way it was, no bullshit, no one telling us what to talk about. BUT the audience was obsessed with the Ned topic as you can see from this thread and from the calls that came in. We need this show to be longer than an hour. |
