He says black guy or black dude all the time he emphasizes the black. He did it when Marcus Jones was in studio and I was suprised Marcus let it go...today describing Adrian Peterson he says "all they have to do is give it to the black"....I mean wtf? The whole Brad Daughtery thing ....

To me (and maybe this is because I'm so young that i'm naieve on the issue), "colored" does not seem to be at all insulting; it's less harsh-sounding than "black" (not that i think "black" is offensive either), and the word "color" has generally positive connotations. If someone uses it in a neutral descriptive context, they should not be accused of being a racist -- save that for the people who ARE RACISTS... |
