Nick Hogan made a very public appearance with fast cars at the big SEMA car show in Las Vegas yesterday, just one day before Florida authorities say his criminal case could be moving forward -- and a short time later, Polaroid, the sponsor of his drift car, dropped him from its roster.

While his pal John Graziano, the ex-Marine who was critically injured in the souped-up car Hogan crashed on August 26, remains in a coma in Florida, Hogan spent the day kibbitzing with fans in the NOPI Drift Racing Booth at the show.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the case against Hogan could go to the State Attorney as soon as today.

Meanwhile, Nick's dad, Hulk Hogan, spent Tuesday night partying at the Playboy Club in The Palms Hotel.

I think that anyone who holds a competition license in any form of motorsport should have their privileges revoked after something like this.Being a member of an association means you are supposed to be responsible and to know that this sort of stuff belongs on the TRACK AND OFF THE STREETS!(I DON'T CAR HOW OLD OR YOUNG THEY ARE) it is not like this was"just an accident". There is NO excuse for this.To even continue to pursue a career in drifting at this point is just a slap in the face of his injured friend!!!! It has been made clear that he has no regard for authority or safety of others on multiple occasions. Losing a sponsor should be the least of his issues. This is a BIG deal in not only has he taken the life away from an innocent person but he has just added to the struggle that racing in all forms goes through when it comes to it's reputation in many communities.
it just makes me mad they they are going on like its status quo.

The little respect I had for Hogan (Terry) I lost by allowing Nick to still race

It's not like he's a child, I'm sure Hogan lets his son make his own decisions.

Hogan is the father & the one that would be footing the bill on the lawsuit
We see how good Nick's decisions are without a parents stepping up ... time to hulk up & be a responsible parent when the cameras are off too

I thought this was a very interesting shirt for Hulk to wear. Not very bright considering the circumstances.

The message on the shirt was right. What is wrong about it is that Nick still gets to drift(for now) The follow up to the message on the shirt should be that there are consequences to your actions.
socal_fun
WOW! I'm shocked that Nick and even Hulk for that matter wouldn't be laying low out of respect for the injured. For Nick to be at that NOPI booth is just bad taste. How sad.

That shirt is a joke. He shouldn't wear it.

I can't believe Nick is still racing. No punishment.

I know we are supposed to lay low bc of Bubba's friendship but the more I know about "Hogan & family" the less I like them
bryanrules0000
Nick is a douche bag. his buddy and his family suffer while the Hogan family go on with life and party and act like nothing happened. I know they have to move on (both families) but i think its weak Nick is racing. And the family ask like it was a tragic accident. It wasnt an accident. Accidents are for normal people who drive normal. not like a coked up fag with a heavy foot

I agree COMPLETELY but don't get banned for using those words. There is a policy here to lay off the Hogans

My soon to be 17 yr old has been training to be a fighter for about 4 yrs now. Had his first fight in may but anyways I had to put a stop to his fighting on the street. Told him no more gym if he gets in a street fight. No problems the last couple of yrs. If I was Nicks dad he would be on his own and walking the streets begging for a ride.

Thats because you are a good father in real life & not one on a staged reality show

Nick should have not been allowed to even DRIVE again ... screw racing

I'm still amazed by this

While this poor guy lays in a hospital room, Nick and his poor excuse for a father are out partying in vegas. What's WRONG with people/ What happened to being held accountable for your actions? Who told Brooke SHE had any talent? I've seen that dumb ass show. Only thing I see are a group of people desperate for attention and a long faded wrestler coming to the conclusion no one gives a rats ass about him anymore?

I'm glad the mods have laid off this thread bc it has become the most honest thread on SFN..
Hogan is nothing but a user & taker & I cannot stand him

He also had his lawyers rush to "diversify" his money so it would be harder to sue

"Hulk Hogan has transferred ownership of his trademarks from himself to a limited liability company called 'Hogan Holdings Limited'. The trademarks include Hulk Hogan, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Hulkster, Hogan Knows Grillin, Hulkamania.com, Hulkapedia.com and Paul The Giant Wight, for use in boxing contests."

What a stupid post ... who isn't "letting them handle it"?

The f'n family has a reality show that is WORKED to make them look good while Nick Hogan PUBLICLY does interviews bragging about how he disregards the law & speeds & puts lives in danger & people should ignore that because of ... ... ?

HOGAN KNOWS BEST is about Hogan being a father ... he asked for the microscope to be on him & he got it

He went out of his way to make his family public figures & then they f'd up ... thats a heat getter ... get a clue man

If nicks passenger was wearing a seatbelt none of this would be happening...

So now what... the hurt marine is a dumbfuc for not wearing his seatbelt?

He clearly new nicks past driving history...

People make there own decisions and he chose not to wear his seat belt....

Also how many 17yr olds have the power to tell another teen..

"Sure drive my dads new silver viper and we will meet you there"

Im gonna call bullshit on this gimmic...Id bet a small amount of money theres a nigger in a woodpile some where holding his tounge..

I agree with you in part, but it is also unreasonable to expect the Hogan's to quit living life. Nick should absolutely be held liable for his actions though. As a parent, I'd suspend his driving privileges irregardless of what the courts do and I think his sponsors canning him was a good move. Him skating through this unscathed aside from his friends serious injury would be a gross injustice. Blaming John for not wearing his seatbelt doesn't hold water IMO.

I bet they are really nice people in real life, but unfortunately I think Nick was the stereotypical son that the father lets get away with too much while he stifles the defenseless daughter. Their show is laced with that theme. Nick was far more reckless than most 17 year olds for sure because he had the means to do so. Some of life's lessons are harder than others.

How in the hell can you say that a seatbelt would have saved John in this car. He hit the tree at a high rate of speed with the back of the car. A seatbelt and an airbag may have saved some injuries if he hit the tree with the front of the car.

He is an admitted "mark" but blind loyalty is just stupid IMO & I hate when others try & talk like they think Bubba would "Im gonna call bullshit on this gimmic..." & his n*gger comment proved his ignorance
KingOfAllCubans
nick should be held criminally responsible for negligent attempted vehicular manslaughter & reckless endangerment, should have his license revoked till he's 25 years old, and should be financially responsible for his passenger for the rest of his life.

Before you call someone else a "dumbfuc(SIC)", let alone a Marine that served this country in Iraq, learn how to spell "DUMB FUCK" which you clearly are yourself :dick: :fuckyou:

Even if you think Nick isn't at fault isn't a reason to kick this kid when his life is essentially over.

Exactly - Also When someone is the passenger in your car, YOU ARE 1000000% responsible for them. That's why when you get pulled over and your passenger is not wearing a seatbelt - the driver gets the ticket.

Just like if you are the captain of a ship or a pilot of a plane. Nick is responsible and since he's a minor, I would imagine his parents are also cause I bet the car insurance was not 100% in Nick's name/

Nevertheless - my earlier post says it all. he should be held criminally and civilly liable and pay the penalties for that and should not have the privilege to drive until he is at least 25.

Hogan's Son Arrested; Police Say He Was Racing Before Crash

Nick Bollea turned himself into police on Wednesday.

Unedited Video: Nick Bollea In Handcuffs

Nick Bollea, son of famed wrestler Hulk Hogan, has been arrested on felony charges of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, Clearwater public safety spokeswoman Elizabeth Daly-Watts said.

Two Clearwater police officers in an unmarked car dropped Bollea, 17, off at the Pinellas County Jail in Clearwater. Bollea appeared sullen and refused to answer questions.

Clearwater police say the Aug. 26 crash happened when Bollea was street racing against a silver Dodge Viper just before he lost control of his 1998 Toyota Supra. His sports car struck a curb and spun 180 degrees across two lanes of traffic before slamming rear-end first into a palm tree.

Investigators say Bollea was driving more than 60 mph in a 40-mph zone when his car crashed.

"Nick will meet and answer these charges in the appropriate arena – a court of law," attorneys Sandy Weinberg Jr. and Kevin Hayslett said in a statement released on their client's behalf.

"The family's primary focus and concern still remains for the continued recovery of Nick's longtime friend, John Graziano," the statement said.

Graziano, Bollea's passenger, was critically injured in the wreck.

"The tragedy to both families is compounded by the fact that unfortunately John was not wearing his seat belt. Thankfully, Nick was wearing his. Because of what happened to John, the entire Bollea family will make it a priority to increase public awareness about the importance of always wearing your seat belt."

Graziano, 22, has been deemed incapacitated, according to attorneys representing his father and mother. Graziano's parents are involved in a court dispute as to who should take care of him.

Hulk Hogan pulled up to the jail in a white Mercedes to pick up his son after a brief news conference. Bollea and his mother hugged outside the Mercedes and then he got in the back seat and put on his seat belt.

Police said the Viper's driver, 22-year-old Daniel Jacobs, of 1880 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin, was not a direct cause of the crash but has been issued a summons to appear in court for a reckless driving charge.

Police also cited Bollea for use of a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony, being younger than 21 years old and driving with a breath-alcohol level of .02 or higher, and having illegal window tint.
