| This is interesting. It makes me absolutely disgusted to see what is happening there, yet i bet 99% of the people here eat meat. ITS THE SAME SITUATION! Cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, etc are slaughtered just like this everyday in one of the most industrialized/advanced nations in the world. How hypocritical that its slaughter to dolphins but absolutely ok for food animals. |

Don't let the AV fool you I'm mostly a vegetarian (mostly because my GF is). Don't get me wrong I eat chicken and steak now & then but i'm slowly in the process of giving it all up. The fact is that the cattle animal are put down in a slightly more humane fashion.
The real out rage is because dolphins are on the verge of being endangered and the level of their intelligence. Sure pigs are smart but they aren't being hunted into extinction. |

Dolphins are an extremelly intelligent mammal (aside from humans I believe they are the only other species on earth that has sex for pleasure, if that's not intelligence I don't know what is). Now I'm not naive about slaughter houses, but what they were doing to those dolphins in that video was just horrific. |
