| it's funny how all you bandwagon Pats fans failed to mention how one of the Best Colts players and one of the best receivers in the NFL couldnt even play in the game yesterday. If you dont think this had an impact with Indy losing only 4 points against the Pats, you are kidding yourselves. Seriously, not to have sour grapes, but if Moss or some other big player was out for New England and Indy won. All you Pats fans would be crying because Moss was out. YOU ALL KNOW IT'S true. |

They were forced to just go out and win anyway. |

yeah but they were not playing the Pats, way off on that comparison. We are talking two of the best teams going against each other. Every position matters. |

Colt's Harrison has been negated be Pat's Harrison every time they've been on the field together, anyway. Probably part of the reason he sat out yesterday. If you aren't going to be a factor in the game, open up the roster spot for someone that might be. |

| the bottom line... peyton didnt get it done. he had all professional football players out there. the name of the game is X's and O's. EXECUTION. brady did. you find ways to win in football. obviously the the noise and the shit ref calling didnt help. |

Fucking Waaaaa waaaa waaaaa. Ok, I'll give you Harrison makes a big difference. However, if you have any objectivity at all you'd have to agree that there were three bad officiating calls against the Pats, two of which were huge. The PI's were an absolute joke. You take those two penalties away and the game is not a 4 point game. Consider also that this was a home field game for Indy. With crowd noise and the home field edge the odds makers give the home team an automatic 3 pts. It's just a fact regardless of the team.
That considered, I'd have to say the Pats are the better team PERIOD. |

| The Pats seemed in complete control even when they were behind. And when it came time to win the game they did it without much trouble. It's the sign of a truly great team. If those teams had been playing in NE the Pats would've probably won by a much bigger margin. I hope somebody can bring the Pats down to earth but right now they are by far the elite team in the NFL. |

Boy do I remember that game. That was a classic. What was that a 27 point comeback or maybe even more? |

| In 2004 the Patriots were missing 3 of their starting 4 DBacks. Troy Brown played the Nickel and they signed a guy on WEDNESDAY who STARTED the game at one of the corners for the AFC Championship game...and they still won. Champions win with whoever they have...the Colts and their fans just make excuses. |

| Pats are better cheaters than any other team in the NFL. No one can figure out how, who cares about why, but they are cheating and doing a great job of making it look like a talented team is playing its heart out. QB has a speaker in his helmet telling him the play. On offense and defense they know what their opponent is running a majority of the game. It is their talent that executes the play sent in. BUT that play has a high rate of success against the play they know about before it happens. Fun to watch you have to admit. But they won a close one to make it look good. They could have blown Colts away last night. The look on Brady's face gives it away. |

thats what I am saying, Moorehead dropped a perfect pass along with another receiver fucking up and a NE player getting the interception. I am not a Colts fan, I am just stating the obvious. If the Pats beat the colts by lets say their usual this year, 10 -20 points, then I would just shut the fuck up.
The Pats did win and they are the better team. But if Harrison was playing, it would have probably been the Colts winning that game by 10 points easily.
This is going to be a great fucking AFC game for sure. Colts will get their revenge late in the season and the post season. I can't wait for that game, it is going to be so pumped up huge! |

| I'm not a Pats fan, but the bottom line is the Pats got jobbed by the refs, had the most penalty yardage in team history, and still won the game. Unless Marvin Harrison can somehow cover Moss it won't matter the next time they play each other. |

It's not a fact that oddsmakers give a team 3 pts for home. Whoever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about. The true line on this game should have been about 3 1/2 or 4 but it had to be inflated because the general public (or squares) will bet the Patriots all day. That is why it was around 5 1/2. |

Harrison would of made a different, but it's not a valid excuse. The Colts had a 10 point lead with 8 minutes left and the last time I checked Harrison doesn't play defense.
I think Harrison might be done for the year it was looked as a minor injury, but it seems to get worse every week. |

How about when the Pats won their 3rd SuperBowl w/ Troy Brown playing DB? Apoc is right.....this is a stupid thread.
I wonder what the final score would have been if the Colts hadn't benefited from the 2 bogus pass interference calls. I wonder if the Pats D would have shut Indy down even more had Eugene Wilson played. Football is a TEAM game...The best TEAM WON! |
