Nice .............
Waterboarding is a form of controlled drowning consisting of immobilizing an individual on his or her back, with the head inclined downward, and pouring water over the face[1] to force the inhalation of water into the lungs.[2] Waterboarding has been used to obtain information, coerce confessions, punish, and intimidate. In contrast to merely submerging the head, waterboarding elicits the gag reflex,[3] and can make the subject believe death is imminent. Waterboarding's use as a method of interrogation or torture is based on its ability to cause extreme mental distress while possibly creating no lasting physical damage to the subject. The physiological effects on victims of waterboarding can last long after the procedure.[4] Although waterboarding in cases can leave no lasting physical damage, it carries the real risks of extreme pain, damage to the lungs, brain damage caused by oxygen deprivation, injuries as a result of struggling against restraints (including broken bones), and even death.[5] |

| As soon as my girlfriend gets home, I'll be trying that. I have reason to believe she ate the last Kit-Kat bar, but she's been denying it. |

| I used to listen to that guy on 109 from 2-3, and yesterday he went on and on about waterboarding, then the week before he had a guy on pro waterboarding, and he was saying things like, "oh well if we waterboard what protects our guys from getting waterboarded." And the guy wasnt smart enough to say, well what we do to them is far better treatment than what they do to our guys. I don't understand why everyone cares so much. Here is a crazy idea, if you want it stopped, you need to be hounding the DoD, not the DoJ, if the DoD forbids it in the facility it wont be done. Unless you believe in those secret CIA prisons. |
