However, unlike you, I can only try to express my feelings thru fonts , which are only words and can relay none of the extreme emotions I feel of the situation. I , like you always try to place myself on both sides of the argument, as I also do in my personal life. And to hear a voice , that represents complete logic "in my head", feels refreshing. I am a huge Artie fan , and that is the reason my emotions have been so tweaked lately. With that said, I get so annoyed while I read the posts that directly and only side with Artie, as 90percent of these posts only convey--{Artie is the man. Sal and Richard are gay}. It is only a black and white issue , for most of the message supporting Artie.
This is my 2 cents to the discussion --- Artie sleeping, eating, disappearing, wearing pj pants to work, is funny for the show. Howard angles it that way. Its not Artie that makes this funny. Yes,, this is funny and does make me laugh hysterically most of the time. BUT, as Im laughing out loud , in the back of my mind I begin to think to myself, does Artie have any respect for Howard, let alone himself. As funny as Howad makes this, Artie show little respect for anyone on the show. Remember when he called Bubba a jerkoff? he said hey I call all of my friends jerk offs, but hearing the tone in Arties voice, its obvious that his intentions are insincere. Same as when he called you a weasel or something like that,, he understands the projection and clarity of his voice, and really said it with arrogace. He is an expert with diction, remember how he even commented on Alec Baldwin, how he even said, wow, u can tell he is trying to intimidate the hell out of little girl, by his blatant diction. Another thing is this, Artie supporters are constantly stating , but he give money to these guys. Well he give money to Jeff the drunk, Alice , and any other wackpacker, and claims that sal is a wackpacker, therefore he considers this charity. Money is money, and Artie does give it, but he will let us know , that he gave so and so money. Its pure arrogance. As far as Artie giving advice ,, I dunno , I would luv to hear all of the advice he has given to Sal and Richard. I remember him telling Sal , stop it with the gay shit, this will not get you on letterman. WOOHOO, meanwhile, he will tell america how much of a junky he is, and then complain about comics that SELL OUT ,, and do the kids choice awards.. saying there is no loyalty to raw comics anymore , they sell out to do these crappy shows. I dunno , im on a rant , and got plenty more,, but as my typing skills are limited to mostly runon sentences I will end it here , and im prepared for responses like this :rolleyes: but atleast I got a third of my fustration out, and I know you will tell me to just call into the Roundtable to be heard, but I have tried atleast 10times so far and never get thru, as I sit on the phone for an hour waiting for my name to be called , and before ya know it,, the show is over. but hey , that just shows how huge your show is, and I forgive ya ,, peaceout bro |

Just got in myself . Had fun as usual tonight. It was a challenge trying to get a word in with Mutt
shot out of a cannon. But we did .
I think we could have done 3 hours on the Fight . Like I said this is ALI-FRAZIER I .

Well, I was beat. Wed night my girl wanted to go out for drinks with her girlfriend and I didn't get to bed till real late. Then up at 6am for work thurs morning. then in NYC by 1PM for a lunch meeting. by the time the show started, it was hours of sitting in the bar blowing time. then by the time I got done drinking red bulls in Hoboken with you after the show, it was around midnight. I got out of the city and pulled over for a nap. 2 hrs later i was back on the road with a coffee. that put me on the road at 2AM. by 2:30AM I was randomly pulled over. I wasn't speeding or driving erratically. they just spot checked me. after a short discussion with the state troopers explaining why I was out this late, I was back on the road again. I didn't get home till 3AM. it was a long 2 days. I think I'll get some rest tonight.

hey, it's just an opinion and a show. I have nothign to do with the fight and I'm certainly not in a position to go against any of these guys. they are in a whole different league than I'll ever be. that being said, I have a show to do. the wrapup show had already gone strongly against Sal & Richard / pro artie. I didn't want to go down that same route. Gotta change it up.
I fully agree that Sal was wrong for acting the way he did. I'm just recognizing that there are issues on both sides here. |

OK, I get it: Arite's recent behavior has partially spoiled both your fondness for him as a person and your enjoyment of The Show and you reacted as a frustrated super fan.
You wanted to somehow express your thoughts to Artie and The Show so he would wake up, apologize for real (especially to Richard) and you could then put Humpty Dumpty back together and restore your listening enjoyment as it was before.
My 2 cents:
When an argument lingers, the people involved have not truly expressed what is bothering them out in the open so that it may possibly be resolved.
Artie claimed that he was going to be honest in what he wanted to get off his chest so that he could get passed the negativity and not affect the work environment but since Artie still felt it necessary to vent in a partially demeaning tone once again on Thursday, he's NOT really saying what is eating away at him.
Since I only hear what goes on while they are on the air, my speculation on what Artie would really say would go something like:
"I was fond of both you guys and supported you with continuing guidance and opportunities to make money and gain experience that I wish people had given me when I was starting my career. Now you've made me out to be some kind of two-faced, snobbish back-stabber and it hurts. I'm really sad, pissed and disappointed with both of you creepy asshole kids that don't get what I'm really about! I would never really say and do what you two are accusing me of!"

I was surprised that Mutt didn't mention that it was the 2-year anniversary of SFRT until near the end of the Show.
Regarding the Artie/Sal/Richard battle, it was a mixture of genuine feelings, entertainment, and miscommunication. It made for totally bitchin' radio.
Who looked WORST in all of this? HOWARD DID for fucking drawing pictures as Artie chucked the CD at Sal...jesus!
