FRIDAY MORNINGS
- Now that Bubba's announced his terrestrial deal, what the hell will happen to Friday mornings? Are we back to no live show? Do we need a live AM show?
If they do something live, what should it be? I've heard lots of suggestions. How could these shows be tweaked to work Friday mornings?
- The Friday Show - Jon Hein & Gary bring back the original Friday Show
- Miserable Men
- The Friday Fan Show - A merger of the Friday Show & SFRT giving us best of clips from the week w/ fan feedback.
- Master Tape & a 2 hr MTT Wrapup Show - interviews with people involved in the original show and clips
- 2 Mastertapes back to back
- The Sal & Richard Show
SECRET SANTA
- How did this compare to previous years? Is there anything they could have done differently?
- Howard said he thought not setting any prices would make for better radio. Was it or was it depressing hearing people get stiffed?
- Double Elf
- Was the woodchipper missed?
BUBBA'S DOUBLE SHIFT
- Bubba was already doing Friday morning but some days he was really dragging. How is he going to pull off AM on terrestrial & then a 2nd PM show on Sirius? Will he make the year?
- Will this hurt his Sirius show?
- Bubba had been saying that he just had a couple small allownces that he needed for the deal. is it fair to call no longer being exclusive and doing a whole second show on terrestrial, a few small allowances? After Howard & Mel's public statements trashing XM's decision to allow O&A to do a split shift with terrestrial, I think it's a big deal. How was this deal allowed? Is it a slap in Sirius' face that he'd do it or a slap in Bubba's that he has to?
- It's been released that Bubba's combined Sirius / terrestrial deal is worth 3 million annually. If Sirius had offered the full 3 but insisted he stay exclusive to Sirius, do you think Bubba would have taken it or is he just dying to get back on his local airwaves?
SAL & RICHARD WILL NEVER LEARN
- The pull George in with insulting song parodies and though Howard disciplined them, he still played the bits and laughed about them. What's the message Howard is sending them?
SHULI ATTACKS
- Howard said that's not how a news person should behave but isn't Shuli a little different than the rest of the news? I think we agree that Langford and Lisa G should act that way but to me Shuli seems to be more of an entertainment segment. Was Shuli out of line with his Double A fight?
- Was it a real fight or was Shuli just trying to push his buttons?

- Do you enjoy these kinds of contests?
- It seemed like this one was never going to happen. What else seemed to get shelved that you were looking forward to?
- Could this be a new beginning of more hot chick segments and less of the gay shit? Has it gotten too gay?

CALLING INTO THE SHOW: When calling into the show, there's no need to give shout outs to SFN or your friends on SFN. We don't have a ton of time so please don't waste any of it. We already have topics setup. Please be a good caller and respond to the topics. Thanks 1-888-STERN-101
GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. once you've been around for awhile ask to be on the show and pick a date. there's a schedule posted in every brainstorming thread.
GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. It's on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building on the corner of 49th & 6th in studio 21. Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in.
This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you would do when stopping by the bank. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. Don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo. Everytime one of you misbehaves, I get a new rule to follow.
You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.
You may take photos in the studio but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.
DO NOT sign the wall.
All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. |

Bubba will not be mentioning Sirius on Cox and he will not be mentioning Cox on Sirius. He will be doing two seperate shows. Cox will not allow him to promote Sirius on terrestrial radio and hes already provn this week that he wont mention Cox on Sirius. |
