This is the kind of stuff that's in that gray area of friends/business. There should be a policy one way or another to avoid this crap.
It does make for great radio though.

| not when they are getting paid outside their normal salary to do the show. normally all of this is settled prior to agreeing to be hired to do a show. travel expense, lodging expense, food expense etc. right? |

Usually I support Spice and the boys, because I know Old Bubba put them through hell and back.
I thought it was kind of out of line to ask for a per diem though. Making your single largest check for work ever, and you still need a hundie to buy you some McDonalds? Man. Really kinda getting in Bubba's face with that.
