I know bubba needs the money and sirius does not pay him that much but to go back to the place that he got fired from terrestrial radio where he has censor his talk about sex which for the bubba show is impossible because he always has hott sluts in his studio and it's just not the same show that kicks ass. He has to deal with a 10 second delay which is so gay because when they do have to push that button you are listening on the radio and the audio skips parts you don't know what the hell is going on. Pre taped skits and bits have to be screened before airing jesus christ remember when howard had to do that he almost killed himself. Well give me your thought do you think this is a good or bad call because at his rate he might have his wife whippppppinnngg his ass with a towel because with all the stress and him eating that way he probable weights more than artie.

| First and foremost the reason is money. I would also have to think that the publicity of being on an FM station helps also. Yes, I know people are gonna say that terrestrial sucks and is too restrictive, but let's be honest, if people like what they hear on FM, maybe that will entice some to subscribe. |

| Plus since Clear Channel blocked his attempt to air the "bombs" he had at the begining of the Sirius show its a good way to attack them by taking ratings and advertisers away. |

I always felt bad they had to do those Friday mornings for basically nothing. At least if they do them over there they can make some extra cash and Bubba might be less stressed. |

| Plus if hes getting up at 6am EVERY day, it'll become habit and you won't here him bitching anymore about getting up early. I only mention that because everyone keeps saying "he bitchs now about it, hows he gonna do it everyday" and if he does bitch about it, it'll be on FM, by 3pm the Revita-FB's will have kicked in and he'll be hulked up. |

So much for the "revolution" that gets promoted by Sirius so much.
How long before Bubba gets an FCC fine? You know there are going to be snitches from Clear Channel listening to every word Bubba speaks and having people report anything questionable. I don't think even a tamed down Bubba makes it out of January on testicle radio. |

It's really shocking that a company would treat their #2 talent with such disrespect. They're going to need someone to help fill the void when Howard leaves, and Bubba seems to be their best bet. This isn't how you groom a replacement. |

You know, its sad. I really used to like L&T. Then I realized Terry is a fucking queer and there isn't a manly bone in his body. He's so freakin' annoying man. They rat on Bubba, Bubba files complaints against them. Mutual Assured Fines.
Or at least thats what i learned from watching shitty matthew broderick movies. |

Actually, it isn't the same deal. O+A simulcast the first three hours of their XM show onto FM. That to me is a dumb idea, you can't have an overly edited show on FM while at the same time making the audience that listens on XM feel like they are listening to a watered down version of what they are paying a subscription fee for.
Bubba is going to have two different shows. Big difference.
Now, he might get burned out after a while on doing two shows, but that is a topic for another time. :p |

Besides money, they needed a sure thing. Sirius was far from being sure, and was almost OVER. Bubba needed some kind of gig for the BRN, so he signed with Cox to have work. I think money isn't as much an issue as they have us think. With bubbaarmy.com, bubbaraw.com, and now itunes, they get pretty good cash. And that $300 K5 box set...nearly 3000 of those sold = close to one million dollars. |

| bubba was just on TV on the abc morning show here in Tampa....said he went back to regular radio beacuase the money is insane, said they offered him a few more million to just do terrestrial and leave sirius but then Bubba interestingly said that he owes it to his fans at sirius and Howard to do at least one more year....which kinda sounded like it would be a year long goodbye, if the terrestrial gig goes well. He seems really pumped up about the terrestrial gig and gettng revenge at 98 rock and clearchannel. |

Learn how to work kid... Bubba's FM gig is just a Tampa-local show. It's not going out syndicated nationwide, so there's definitely NOT millions involved. I'm sure the guys will make more than your typical local DJ, but it still ain't gonna be THAT much.
The new show's not going to be like the Sirius gig. It's gonna be mostly Tampa-local stuff. The crazy shit is still gonna be Sirius-only. I really don't think they're gonna be getting any fines. They don't plan on doing their usual show on FM. If he did any quality-craziness on FM, I'm sure Howard would have a fit. He hates losing premiere bits to any other show/channel. The FM show will be local news, local events, casual talk. Any cutting loose they do will still be in our little family.
Personally, I'm impressed these guys would work so hard out of their loyalty to Howard. I'm sure they COULD get a nationally syndicated gig for some REAL money if they wanted to, but they love workin' on Sirius, they love Howard... They're doin' two-shows a day just so they can afford to still be around. They're not gonna get rich on FM, it's just a side-gig so they can afford to pay their mortgages and feed their families.
Howard said that the inside iggy he's gettin' is that the next contract will be a lot different. Things are just really fucked up right now thanks to all this merger nonsense.
Don't ask me how I know all this, I just do. I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy, if you know what I mean... ;) |

as much as bubba thinks he's a huge celebrity he really isn't. many parts of north america have never heard of him. he needs to draw attention to himself and sirius.
