I might try to call in today and give a review of Bubbapalooza. |

And, before anybody asks - assuming anybody asks - my review is this:
The hecklers need to be beaten. I have to figure that, for a second performance, there has to be a degree of tension among the performers, and having some douchebag "fan" heckle you the entire time has to make that tension worse.
I liked the songs and the stand-up. From what I heard (I listened to a bootleg recording), the songs got the biggest pop of the night. Since they have such a huge catalog of popular songs, I think they should sing more in the next one, and maybe include a handful of stunts that they aren't allowed to do on the show anymore. For example, let 25 cent try again, but send him out there with a shock collar on. If he - no, WHEN he screws up, turn on the juice.
In terms of the actual stand-up, Manson and Ned both had good material, but Ned's material sounded like it was written in part by Manson. Ned is Ned, and he needs to be edgier. Put it to you this way ... if I call the show and Brent calls me a "fucking cocksucker," I'd be offended and maybe hurt a little. But if Ned calls me a cocksucker, then it's practically an HONOR. So, Ned can afford to and needs to push the envelope a little more. He's the one guy who could rip into the audience without it coming back on him, and his comedy should be more reflective of his cruel show behavior.
All in all, I loved it. If and when they come here to Toronto, I will go. If and when they go to Pittsburgh, I will drive the six-to-seven hours to watch. It's awesome that they are doing this sort of thing. |

| so I am a pro wrestling referee and travel across the midwest. I was coming home from detroit just over a week ago listening to Bubba make the announcement of the renewal on Sirius and a truck passed me and there was some writing on the back of the truck. It read "FTE Bubba Army". I took a couple pics of it. since I am a jr.member i cannot post them.. if anyone would be willing to give me an email I cam email the pics to be put up on here. It was awesome. I was marking out in my car over Bubba resigning and the truck writing.. God Must be a Bubba Fan! :D |

I guess they are celebrating their one year anniversary in AC. Well, I may still try to go meet him even though racing does little for me.

It boggles the mind. :ce: Thousands of threads and members. With my limited knowledge of the technical aspects involved I get a headache just thinking about all the work it would take to fix the site. I do notice that old threads still show up in a google search and it give a message that you're not permitted to view the thread if you click on it. Let's hope that means they're still recoverable. |

Funny you should ask. I am sitting here at my desk trying to not cry. I put $1000 out last week. Yesterday they told me that it was gonna cost $721. Ok they also said it wasn't done they wanted to send the head out to get diagnosed. Well I called just now to see if it was done. Ok bad news, the head was cracked. Ok so that means another $500, they aren't charging me more labor.
So that is $1221. I now will not be able to pay my rent on the 1st.. I guess I need to get a credit card. I haven't needed one in years I either use my check card or cash and that is it. If I don't have money for it, I don't get it.

You are probably better off phoning the junk yard and pricing an engine that will fit and find someone who can install it. I bet you can get that done for way cheaper. You must know someone that can help you. You know make some calls and shit. Sounds to me your mechanics trying to fleece you |

I think I can trust them. I have been using them for years. I don't know anything about cars at all.. there really isn't anything I can do but trust them. Find someone to install an engine? I would go to them.. |

:console: I know how you feel. I bought the car I am currently driving and within 4 weeks my clutch broke. I went to the dealership and raised hell. They told me it was not under warranty but they told me that the transmission shop they use would cut me a deal. I took it to them and a week later with no car they charged me about 800 bucks. Shitty because I know people who could have installed it for less than 600.
I was driving around a week or so and the clutch did nothing but grind my gears. So I had to take it back to the shop. Another week with no car. The apparently did not install my clutch right.
I got it back and now its doing the same thing on the way home. I turned around and dropped it back off again. They told me the transmission was fucked and it would be $1200! I was livid. They fucked up my clutch and it fucked up my transmission. I eventually got the dealership to pay for it but I was without a car for about a month. |
