Hey Joey -
Would it be possible to change how TO works? This was my first time in, and I didn't know what I did or that I was even in here for a day or so. At first I just thought my computer ate all my cookies and I had to re-log in. After that didn't work, I found my way over here and realized I was in TO, but I still didn't know why. In my "Am I In Time Out?" post below I said as much and Dave Mathews posted a sarcastic comment I made in a thread about the History of Howard which was the offending remark (at least Dave thought it was).
Anyhow, I guess what I'm wondering is if there's a way to 1) tell a member you've been put in TO and 2) tell them why and 3) tell them what they have to do to get out.
I realize for a lot of people TO is normal part of life, but for some of us clueless folks a little more explaination would help.
Just a thought..................and I'd still like a Christmas miracle! |

one time my computer ate all the cookies and i was WICKED PISSED, there were crumbs everywhere and i had JUST made them- and then the fucker didn't want to work- i had to shove pepto tablets in the disk drives!!!!!
finally after she ate the pepto i got online again!

That's another strange thing I've noticed about TO's.......the inconsistancy in which they are handed out. I made a sarcastic comment to a nameless, faceless "H100 News" person and I got TO'd while other people give you a ration of shit for a bunch of personal issues and most of the time you just ignore them.
It seems strange to get in trouble for breaking balls in a jokey way while others say some vicious stuff with no hint of humor and they get a pass. Obviously different mods view things differently, but some seem to give you the death penalty for jaywalking while others don't get bent out of shape over a hit and run.
Anyhow, can I come out now? Please? |

thanks dave and seomancc- but this is a really bad thing, really bad and is causing soo much pressure in my ears that the other night i thought that my ear drums ruptured, i never cry unless my cats are in pain or sick, or someone dies. but i was in tears, i felt cold running down my face and i was like fuck@! but it was a cold sweat, i was burning with fever but freezing and it wasn't blood.
but my ears hurt like i have an ear infection, like a kid, THIS IS REALLY BAD< REALLY BAD
oh did i mention that my car died today? i want to die |
