I'm full hot on listening to Sirius online with this f'en computer.

Here's what happens:

When logged on to hear Sirius online with my computer I more than two or three times a minute "freeze up willy" and the player says "buffering".

What pisses me off is this doesn't happen with my laptop and I use the same exact browser and antivirus.

I'm pulling out what lilttle hair I have on my head trying to figure this out.

Any ideas what it could be?

btw, the laptop connects wirelessly and the desktop connects via a hard line to the same exact router in my closet.

I have changed the desktops hardline at the router to see if it was that port but still, it didn't help..

Thanks guys

Is this a problem with your Intranets? if so run a JPEG. Then check the PC Load Letter.

replace the flux capacitor.

What browser are you using?

Also make sure you get all Windows updates (assuming your on a PC and not a Mac)

Also, try Steam_On, it is a thousands times better than Sirius's online player.

Use the Yahoo Sirius Widget. I been using it for about a year and havent had a single problem with it. Go to yahoo.com and do a search on Yahoo Sirius Widget. you will have to download yahoo widget and the sirius program separately. after you do that use just need to configure it(user name/password) and take care of the presets and you will be on your way.

I totally agree on this one, I tried yahoo and all the other crap, Stream_On is the only program I really really liked.

Have you tried testing your network connection on your PC?

Dunno about posting links to other forums in here - but there's some good connection test tools over at 'DSLReports' Try the speed test and 'tweaktests'

If you're having to stop and buffer, your connection maybe getting congested... Since it doesn't happen on the wireless; I'm thinking configuration on the desktop...

Good luck - CdnFirefighter

Stream on isn't working for me. It keep saying "connecting to media" and never does.

I will try checking my connection, but like I said, I have a feeling it's the way the desktop is configured...just don't know where to start looking if it is the desktop.

Anyone?

Thanks

It sounds like something is wrong with your media codecs...

Hmmm...any idea on how I can find out if that's the case and how to go about fixing it?

Thanks
