How about the fact that Tulowitzki plays in the biggest hitter-friendly park in the history of earth and Reyes plays in Shea Stadium? That might be one possible reason Reyes had less HRs. Reyes is also a lead-off hitter so naturally he's going to have less RBI's (at least 160 of his AB's were with nobody on base, about 25%). Tulowitzki's OBP was a whopping .005 better than Reyes and had 5 more TB. Reyes scored more runs (you know, the things you need to win games), more hits, doubles, triples, and walks. He also had 71 more stolen bases. They had virtually equal fielding stats.
I think you just sealed your #1 spot on my list. It's too bad SFN crashed a month ago because I'm sure I could find some more of your gem posts.
I would hold on to that male nurse job you've got at the hospital. I don't think any MLB teams are gonna be knocking down your door offering you a GM position. |

I am barely jewish though, in reality. I did have a bar mitzvah but I have not been to temple in at least 5 years. The last time I went was only because my grandfather was in town and I was not going to be a dick.
I also just celebrate the holidays at my family and shit, we dont do anything serious. I am as low as it gets on the jew pole. Most of the serious jews look down on me. :cool:
P.S Also overall, I hate jewish woman. The ones I have dated are nothing but high maintenance bitches. Give me a blond irish girl any day of the week :D |

Just like you neatly use stats from a single year to prove a ridiculous point. If at the end of their careers Tulowitzki has better numbers than Reyes then I'll give credit where credit is due, but you base an argument on one season. I'm sure I could find someone who had better numbers than Ted Williams did for a single season, it doesn't mean they were a better hitter. Ask any GM in baseball if they'd rather have Troy Tulowitzki or Jose Reyes as their SS and try not to get laughed out of the bulding. Dope. |

I would take at least 8 MLB SS over Reyes any day of the week and so would any sane GM. And right now Tulowitzki's career numbers are better than Reyes...look it up moron.
