If Boston is the center of the sports universe, then we have come to the center of the center of the sports universe. Somewhere in the bar, according to city records, is the precise geographic center of Boston.
The bar at The Point is a cobblestoned block from Faneuil Hall.
'Actually,' the bartender says, 'it's in the crappah.'
Where?
'The crappah... uh, the bathroom.'
So there's not a black hole in the center of the sports universe, there's a white porcelin one. |

| Can't be. Faneuil Hall is almost on the northern edge of the city. The geographic center would be somewhere in brown-town. |
