uhm and the lowly eagles in week 12. All 3 games were decided by 4 pts or less.

I think any real fan knows the motto of the NFL is that anything can happen on " ANY GIVEN SUNDAY"(or saturday ;)), but there are just a lot of haters on this board that like to start a thread every other hour about how the pats are beatable and how they will lose this certain week etc. The pats are beatable? WOW...talk about stating the obvious. All teams are beatable, its the question of when someone will beat them...no?

I agree. The giants had a great game because the Patriots bring out the best out of their opponents. I want to see the Giants beat Tampa, but I doubt we'll see the same Manning as we did on saturday. |

The Patriots had several close calls this year. Logic dictates that any of the AFC teams that made the playoffs (with the possible exception of Tennessee), has a reasonable chance of elevating their game and beating them in the playoffs.
For the record, I don't think any of the NFC teams stands a snowball's chance in hell. |

| No fan outside of New England will even root for the Pats IF They match up with Green Bay in the Super Bowl. Everyone is gonna want to see America's QB Brett Favre get his storybook ending and I have a feeling he would play out of his ass kind of like he did against Oakland in 03 and the Pack will rip the Pats IF the Pats even get there. |

| Of course the Patriots can get beat in the playoffs, but if there ever was a such thing as a lock I would bet my money they roll right through the Super Bowl. This team has not even played it's best ball for a couple weeks and have been on cruise control. And the comments about the cheating are just ridiculous. They are not the only teams that are or have been doing this. They just got caught. And you know since they got caught in week 1 they have been under the microscope so I feel this makes it even more impressive. I will say this though. I am hoping for a Jacksonville/New England AFC Championship. Best game and best chance of New England getting beat in my opinion. |

But this team has done exactly what I would hope every team I cheer for would do.
They have put aside personal probs and egos to work for the better of a team and concept of winning.
They have not slacked off, coasted or jaked away a few games.
They have played every down like it's their last one.
They have lived all the cliches that we tell the kids we coach when we want to light a fire under them.
