I wasn't expecting Michigan to have that much success but I did think it would be a close game. SEC teams tend to finish strong so Florida should still be alright. |

Mich could screw up their season...they are good at that. Mich has been terrible as of late in bowl games but this is carr's last game so who knows.

I watched a little of it but not all. I thought WISC was going to win today but that went down. I am a little interested in the IL and USC game tonight. USC on paper should win that but IL is a scrappy little team.
I didn't do much last night. I drove home yesterday then had to unload the car and what not. i drank a couple of beers then went to bed before 1.
What a hell of a catch just now. |

I am interested in the USC/Illinois game as well. Seeing as Illinois handed your boys there only loss. Hawaii/Georgia might be worth checking out as well. So far Arkansas is the only SEC bowl loss, Missouri made them look like little kids. Six more days of shit talking until LSU/OSU are you ready? Or more importantly are you going to be around?
I think I got home around 5 this morning, not really sure. I slept until 2, then started watching the games. We had to resort to taunting Boots while you were away. |

I hate rooting for them and wished Greg Matthews and a few other players would've tore ACL's in the game (just so Rodriguez doesn't have anything next season), but good thing Michigan won for the Big Ten.
ESPN's Accuscore is kind of scary for OSU fans. The favorite on the Accuscore bowl simulations has won 16 of 24 games. LSU is favored by over 60 percent on the Accuscore. |

are you asking if i will be around during all the bcs games or the osu lsu game?
I think Eddie George did ok after his win but we lost the game. I think we lost it to Tenn. The gators got in a bad spot because Carr was being shoved out and they had something to prove. The best I can hope for is for people to not give the big ten any respect and lsu get all confident.
IL just about got away with a TD there.

Yep, Michigan definetly wanted to send off Carr in style. I can only hope that LSU doesn't get overconfident. It would be easy seeing as they basicly have home-field advantage playing in the Superdome in New Orleans. |

many people feel this osu team plays better with each other than last years. i still think last years osu team was better than last years gators. That's the way it goes though. This year lsu is probably the better over all team. |

- Teams playing in their home states are 3-3 this bowl season (not counting the Texas Bowl between TCU and Houston).
- On ESPN.com's AccuScore for this bowl season, the favorites have won 19 of the 29 bowl games (not counting this weekend's two games). LSU is favored 62 percent to Ohio State's 37 percent on the AccuScore simulations (over 10,000 simulations of each bowl game).
- Of the AccuScore, only five favorites who were favored by 62 percent or more have lost. The underdogs (37% or less) that have won have been Auburn (37%), Mississippi State (36%), Oregon (28%), East Carolina (27%) and Michigan (25%).
- The four previous BCS games this bowl season have been decided by an average of 21.5 points. |

Hell no. I haven't followed the columbus paper much but someone said Tressel gave all the players an xmas gift of a book with all the press clippings of articles saying they don't have a chance. OSU needs to play LSU the exact same why they did Miami. Bust them in their face right out of the gate and be relentless about it. The run wont be easy, that is for sure and I agree it's possible LSU will be the best D we have faced all year. |

Of course LSU has been catching a bit of bad press as well being a 2 loss team playing for a national chamionship. I agree it does seem like OSU is the team that has something to prove. People see the SEC as a better conf right now. That is why they get a pass I think. Mich started out so bad and that doesn't help. Last year was bad news for our D. They got smoked and they have played like they have a chip on their shoulder all season. |

I was tempted to go on an SEC rules type rant but what's the point. It is sorta like the Patriots, it is good to be them, but everybody be hatin.
The Big Ten does need some bolstering, Illinois doing well is a good sign, hopefully Michigan, and Michigan state will build back up and things will start looking better for everyone. The real goal is to see how your team stacks up against the best that is out there. I am not sure that I would pick a better opponent for LSU than OSU right now. |

Mich will be back...sad to say LOL. They just need to start wining bowl games. You are right, IL is coming along but PSU needs to come out of their funk. OSU, Mich, IL and PSU all clicking at the same time makes the big ten as solid a conf as anyone.
Now don't get me wrong, the SEC has some very good teams but I wouldn'd call a single one of them the pats. Actually I wouldn't call anyone in college football now the pats...maybe the team with the old pats coach but they are on a down swing i think. |

I can't quite figure LSU out. They look disorganized at times. Almost like they don't know the plays. It makes me wonder if the LSU coaches put in some new playes for this game or something.
