Brennan will get drafted based on the records he broke, but he won't go in the first round and I doubt the first day. Reminds me of Troy Smith last year. He won the Heisman last year beating Texas and Ohio St. and everybody thought he would go early in the draft. Then he faced a big, fast Florida defense and they shut him down. Brennan is a decent QB, but Hawaii's offense is built for a QB to put up good numbers. To me he is a system QB like every other Hawaii and Texas Tech QB. We will see how he does in the NFL, but he is a backup QB at best in my opinion and probably would have gone higher if he went in the draft last year. This bowl game probably knocked him down 2-3 rounds. |
