I said "duplicitous" simply because Robin criticizes other people all the time for answering questions evasively and she always pushes for all the details on everybody else's private life as though they're unfairly holding out on the show if they're reluctant to answer; meanwhile, she's been lying through her teeth about the simplest question as to whether or not she's been dating Florentine for months. Having a totally different set of rules for yourself and others in identical situations is duplicitous, but if you prefer "hypocritical", that works too. If you disagree, that's your prerogative; I just calls 'em likes I sees 'em.
I never presented myself as a "relationship expert" either. I just asked Mutt whether he had room for me because I just finished writing a book about open marriage and I wanted to contribute some thoughts to the show, that's all. Mutt was kind enough to let me in and I appreciate it, same as anybody else on here with opinions on the show. |
