and 7:30E on FOX.
Oklahoma -8 1/2.
The Big East Champion Mountaineers are coming in with Interim coach Bill Stewart, and a huge 13-9 upset loss by the Pittsburgh Panthers as 29-point favorites after having a great season.
Oklahoma is coming off that big win over Missouri 38-17 in the Big 12 championship
Do you think West Virginia can somehow bounce back, or more importantly can Oklahoma cover? :D |

I have no idea what is going to happen in this game.
I will say this, I no longer expect WVU to lay down. White and Slaton will be back next year and they are not going to give up. If the Michigan games tells you anything, it is do not discounted coaches even though they are leaving.
I expect WVU to put up a grade A effort, however if that will be enough is another story..... |

Well what about the entire Michigan coaching staff who was fired but remained to coach the bowl game, then are switching jobs.
Sort of like a majority of the WVU staff.

You can not ask for WVU to start off much better then this. Defense is playing out of this world. Regardless of how this game finishes, gives you some faith that WVU football will survive! Give me Slaton, White, Devine and the majority of the defense back next year, just do not have a moron coaching and the team will be pretty damn good.

I'm with you Apoc. I'm 46 and them and ND were everywhere. You won't remember it but we went to OU in 1982 in Jeff Hostetler's first game at WVU after he had transferred from Penn St. and sat out a year. We were down 14-0 with like 2 minutes to go in the first half, scored, got the ball back on an on-sides kick to tie it at 14-14.
We ended up winning 42-14 I think which was the being the beginning of the end of Switzer at OU.
And I assume your wife doesn't care, but I have visions of her rooting for the Mountaineers :D

What a great win for WVU, the state and most importantly the fans and the program.
I still have chills from that win. Nobody could have guessed how this would have happened and how this entire team would come together.
Just goes to show you that a TEAM is stronger then ANY one person. They stuck together and did amazing things. With 80% of the starters expected to return, some coach is going to inherit one hell of a team! I am so glad that we at least have one more year of this core of guys. It was a very special year and next year will be even better!

What an umbelivable performance for the whole country to witness. Inspiring to say the least.
I hope WVSaraFan comes back and lets me know I am not alone. People are already saying this is the greatest win in the history of WVU. It was impossible to love this team and not shed a tear!

I bet against WVU but does not mean I was not rooting for WVU.
