He played in New York and guaranteed a win in a almost unwinnable game....and somehow won the game!
He is way overrated, and really only had a handful of good seasons. But he played in NY so like many other athletes before him, and many many more after him......He is overhyped by the natl media :rolleyes: |

Michael Irvin. If you look at his career numbers versus Art Monk it really is a joke. Monk had more receptions, more yardage, more touchdowns and played on 3 Superbowl winning teams like Irvin. Monk's playoff stats are also better.
But to be fair......Irvin is (was) better at huffing on a crack pipe. :rolleyes: |

| What is amazing to me is that none of the Hogs from the 80's Redskins Offensive Line are in the Hall. How the fuck is Joe Jacoby, Russ Grimm and Jeff Bostic not in the Hall of FUCKING FAME!!!!!! |

Agreed. Gibbs took 4 teams to the Superbowl and won three of them. Those four teams have exactly 1 player in the HOF....John Riggins. Somebody please fucking explain this to me. Particularly when the Hogs were probably the greatest Offensive line in history. Jacoby and Grimm should be locks. No question. |
