11-1 Kansas takes on 11-2 Va. Tech tonight, 8:PME @ Dolphins Stadium and on FOX.
The Jayhawks come in with the #2 scoring offense in the nation, while the Hokies have the #2 defense in points aloud. |

They could claim all they want if they win this game but the reality is they had a weak schedule with their biggest win against #24 at the time Kansas State. They had there chance to prove themselves against Mizzou and came out flat. Va. Tech's D is the best and fastest by far they will face, I think they will slow that O down. |

| Hopefully Vince Hall can play tonight after getting hurt at some team outing on the beach. Kansas is a good team, but they didn't play anybody and for the most part Missouri dominated that game. I think Virginia Tech is just a more experienced team and has been in big games like this before. Kansas looked overwhelmed vs. Missouri and they will probably deal with the pressure better here, but I think Tech's defense is better. The x-factor tonight will be Tyrod Taylor if he can make plays with his legs and get a couple deep passes I think Tech wins tonight. Beamer ball will be in effect tonight and I wouldn’t be surprised if Virginia Tech made a big play on special teams. Saying Virginia Tech wins 27-20 tonight, but after last night who knows. |

| Anybody see the insane amount of tickets still available for this game? Ebay and stubhub are flooded with them. I don't think this bowl worked out the way some predicted when they bought the tickets to begin with. I kind of like seeing scalpers getting fucked over. |

Weather is suppose to be cold and rainy, possibly heavy at times.
Just talked to my dad down there, said it is about 45 degrees and raining lightly. It is suppose to drop into the low 40's with a possibilty of rain, possibly heavy at times.
figured I would pass it along. |

That should slow down the Kansas passing attack a little, they are 27th in rushing compared to Va. Techs 5th ranked D against the run. The over/under is 52. :bigthink: |

They did not cover in 2000 against WVU. We shit the bed and should have beaten Tech so they avoided the NC. Vick won the game by running right by me. I was in the front row at Mountaineer field ready to storm the field.
They won with a last second FG, so I doubt they covered.. |

I did not know you were at that fucking game. That is crazy. It really was one of the best and most intense sporting events I ever saw live.
I was in the front row downstairs right off the field. I was in the front row and was prepared to take the pepper spray from the state troopers who surrounded the field. It was worth it for the good of the student body and football team.
