I refuse to watch football because there are two team 15 minutes from my house who pretend to be from New York. Hey, last time I checked East Rutherford is NEW JERSEY!!! I realize New Jersey has supported these two underachieving teams of crybabies for decades, but why do they still call themselves "NY" teams? I see kids at college who are from New Jersey, and then tell people they are from "New York" WTF? That is a fucking lie! How can I blame them when not one but TWO NFL teams do the same thing. Let me make this clear: New York is NOT a football town. It is and always will be a Baseball town. They used to love basketball before Dolan poisoned one of the greatest franchises in history. But New York doesn't care about the Jets or Giants, or they wouldn't have let BOTH of them leave in the first place , and I know they are NOT making the trip over here to watch these assholes lose. When they want to watch losers they go to the Garden and watch Isaiah smile and harass women as Starberry cries like Artie about his dead Daddy. Hey New York, take these losers back. We don't want them either.

And Giants Stadium is a mere 8 miles to New York son..........

You seem to be obsessed with Father-son relationships, height and weight. You must have some seriously deep issues. Anyway, I didnt spend four years in the military and 2 years in the BERGEN county Sheriff's Dept to be offended or intimidated by some eDork. I have to tell you that I really take offense to those teams calling themselves "New York". It has rubbed me the wrong way since I was a little kid. I NEVER got into football because of the discrepancy. I mean if the Eagles played in Camden and were still Called the Philadelphia Eagles it would NEVER fly. I used to see Bill Parcells at the bagel store as a kid, I never cared because I could never identify with those "NY" teams.

This whole "NY" thing doesn't bother you at all? Why the fuck can't we have our own team? Tax dollars are being dumped into those teams from New Jersey NOT New York, and we didn't get a damn baseball team and are losing our basketball team because of them. Plus our hockey team is moved to shitty Newark.

I'm just sick of the whole Jets/Giants thing. We pour money into them, and it is just disrespectful that they masquerade as New York teams. If New York were a football State, the ONLY New York team would call itself "New York" instead of "Buffalo".

I just feel like NJ isnt good enough on their helmets, but NJ MONEY is good enough for their bank accounts?

To be honest, I had season tickets to the Jets and unlaoded them a year before Tuna came because they sucked so bad and I couldn't give the tickets away for free. But when the Jets were trying to build that dome stadium on the West Side of the City, I signed up on the waiting list because I would travel to the City to see them. And trust me, most Jet season ticket holders are from NY, mainly Long Island.......Giant fans are mostly from Jersey...

I realize the Jets/Long Island connection because they used to play at Shea, but WFAN was reporting at the beginning of the season that they are the last vestige of NY fans coming over to see the Jets. Mike and the Mad-Dog were going on about how New Jersey is Giants country because of all the commuters who lived in NJ and worked in NY back in the day, and stuck with the Giants when they moved here, but seriously the numbers were staggering. The whole report was about the NY logos on the helmets and how they were trying to put the camps in NY colleges instead of NJ colleges to save face. I was disgusted when they were talking about how the NY tickets were dwindling and it is NJ people who moved up on the wait lists. Basically I see it like this: They take NJ money, let NJ build the stadium, let NJ give them tax breaks, these people ALL work and live in New Jersey... YOu know what also bugs me? When they had that big Live Earth or whatever the fuck concert it was last summer and they said "The Meadowlands" was NEW YORK! I really wish East Rutherford had gotten the Expos and created a decent franchise, but it didn't happen, and now our first chance to get these football teams to take the NJ name or NOT give them a stadium, the NJ legislators cave in, and let them have the new facility and give them tons of tax money and lots of breaks from the old deal.

It turns out that the majority of asses in the seat at Giants AND Jets games are from Jersey, and all the helmets say NY. No other State would stand for that.

So the "New York" Giants won a playoff game! Who in NYC cares? Everyone in my town is going nuts, and they think it is THEIR team. Yet they don't see that the "Giants" are ashamed of them? Total bullshit. This is like when people defend "animals" and think they aren't vicious and would KILL us if they had the chance.
