Was a new thread necessary for this?
I can't remember who it was they were talking about that had a 12 Boobs contest going, but I believe it was a station they were perusing legal action against. |

I live in Indiana, believe me... I know how much they suck... My point was more about why bust somebody down for starting a new thread here when everybody is leaving here for another board that is not related to Stern. If I were a mod I'd welcome any participation at this point, the darkside is dying on this site. |

| Coming from Indianapolis all I can say is that Bob and Tom are jerks. Every time I have ever seen these guys out in public they never once pay any attention to the fans. Hell I was in the next lane over at a charity bowling event, and they were to busy talking to themselves to even take a picture with anyone. It was shocking how introverted they were in public. |

Yeah, there is a stern site there,,, and that's cool, but not nearly as many haters and it's all about BTLS not BTLS hinging on Stern/Sirius or Stern "I hate BTLS because he's way more edgy than Stern" BS. |

Bubba did say he wants to sue clear channel owned station that rip his bits but it was a few days before the break that I heard that.
also a station in NC did the !2 boobs contest and bubba said he would go after them too because the contest name is federally trademarked. |

| No, they aren't, especially when compared to the local morning shows in the small markets where they tend to dominate. Although hearing them yucking it up over everything gets a bit annoying but having their laughs present on every bit they play tends to negate other shows from playing their stuff on the air. |

I could have sworn that I'd hear THE, or eerily close to the "cameltoe song" on B&T a couple years ago. They have some decent bits (that they probably stole), and some decent guests....but outside of that, I can't stand that fucking show.
All they do is sit there and laugh at themselves. I cannot STAND the smokers lung cookies laughing for more than about 5 minutes. Sometimes, it just isn't that funny.....stfu already. |

It was their version of "Camel Toe" which used the music and melody from The Beach Boy's "Kokomo" and is sung by Dean Metcalfe(Bob & Tom's producer since the mid-80's). It was only aired for a few months before "Janet Jackson's Tittygate" only to be put on a "No Play List" by Clear Channel.
Funniest bit they've aired lately(outside of Donnie Baker) has been the "Twatch" spot. |

| They are so shitty I tried to wake up to them since they suck so bad just to piss me off, but I started sleeping through it anyway. I wish I could wake up to Howard, but it is hard to get a Sirius unit in the house on timer to use as alarm. I wish I made $12 million a year just to laugh like a hyena for 4 hours a day. They are on tiny markets like my hometown McCook Nebraska which can't be a population with outlying rural areas of 25,000 and Arbitron doesn't even think about doing ratings here. So they must be really cheap to get on your station like Rush Limbaugh is |

| Not sure how cheap they are since they use Clear Channel's Premiere Radio Networks to syndicate the show just like Limbaugh's. Which makes me wonder why didn't CC use PRN to get behind Bubba and push his show back in the day? |

How many fines have Bob and Tom accrued? Compared to the $1,000,000+ That Bubba's recieved, thats a very big mark in being able to syndicate someone. Bubba got all those fines in Tampa alone. The fines now are multiplied by the number of stations you're heard on (Since they all heard the indecency too.) They couldn't afford to take the risk. |

| Bob & Tom got hit with one fine in 1998 for $6,000 and outside of Bubba's $715,000 '04 McGillicutty and a $23,000 dinger in '97 his three other fines only totaled $15k. Even Scotty Farrell has a $55k fine pending from '03 according to this three year old chart of FCC fines. |

| A few years ago Bob and Tom had John Cougar Mellencamp on the show for an entire week. You couldn't imagine how many times that guy dropped the F-bomb or some other profanity. However, not once did they bleep him or did I once hear anything about a fine. |
