Earthquake Shakes Papua New Guinea
A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck near Papua New Guinea on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The pre-dawn quake was centered about 50 miles north of the coastal town of Lae and 240 miles north of this South Pacific nation's capital, Port Moresby, it said in a statement.
The quake was too small to trigger a Pacific-wide tsunami warning.
Parts of Papua New Guinea, an archipelago nation, are frequently shaken by quakes.
Meanwhile, a volcano in southern Chile erupted this week, spewing lava and ash, and forcing the evacuation of about 150 people, officials said.
Authorities declared an "early alert" around the Llaima volcano, readying police and firefighters in case further evacuations were needed, Chile's Emergency Bureau said in a communique.
Emergency bureau director Carmen Fernandez said 150 tourists and National Forest Service employees were evacuated from the Conguillio National Park where the volcano is located, 400 miles south of Santiago.
If necessary, residents would also be evacuated from Melipeuco, a town of at least 5,000 located 8 miles from the volcano, officials said.

sorry but I think she's showing class by not discussing it at all. it's not our business...it's between them. unfortunately people's opinions (Howard, the crew, the ex, whatever) got to Bob and it seems like he pulled out cuz of that...of course I know nothing other than what we've heard but people patting him on the back and saying he "went crazy" for wanting to get married next weekend seems childish to me
