| They ruined that show. All the contestant talk sounds scripted and the play by play guy sounds like he was dubbed in after the action was recorded |

| I thought the show was great, the dialog was pretty corny, but all in all its the show I remember watching growing up... Oh and hooty used to many "brothers" he asked the 2nd red male contender a question and I count 3 or 4 brothers in just that one exchange. |

I watched all 2 hours of it and am gonna season pass it on Tivo. It is what it is.. lol.. I mean look at the muscle heads in spandex get creamed with foam pads and shit.. lol it ain't a "real" sport..
that said I would drop dead after climbing that cargo rope deal soaking wet.. |

Show sucks kinda btw, sounds like the contestants are actors as well. The fake audience roaring is lame.
Even with all the shittyness, I find myself watching for a second night in a row. |

Here is my review after watching both nights...
The action on the show is pretty good. The thing I honestly think is bringing it down is Hulk and Daughter Ali. Neither one of them is a good host. When the announcer is talking during the action it is ok. I think if they tried to get some TV people for the interviews then it would be better.
As far as the matches.
So far the two most exciting games are the one where they have to put the balls in the baskets (a lot of hits and action) and then the one where they have to climb the pyramid. It was fun as hell watching that little chinese guy get thrown down 15 feet and smashing on the ground.
As well, the obstacle course seems brutal as hell, and the people are truly tired and beat up by the time done. I love watching these idiots die on the final run up the moving treadmill. They all seem to fall so hard.
I think also what will make it a little better is when the gladiators learn the games a little better. Like the rock climbing. The gladiators suck at it, so it is boring. Once they get better and can catch the contestants, then it will be more exciting.

Wolf and Tao at least have some sort of personality on the show. I was excited to see what Hellga would do, as big as she is. But so far they have only used her in the tunnel challenge.
Anyway, I like the show, and will continue watching it. Just as with the original, you will see changes as the show goes to help improve the watchablity. |

I'm with you, all that contestant "Let's go, my mamma's here, whoohoo" bullshit is annoying. I would just flip the channel back and forth until someone was getting their ass kicked. |

| I loved the show. Especially when the marine corps mom bashed her face on the steel bar in the water during the eliminator and finished the course with blood streaming down her face. It captures the old show perfectly. |

Wow, must have missed you pervs drooling over crush since my last post in this thread, though I don't blame you one bit, but I am sitting here watching AG right now ( little past the airing of course ) and I wanted to say to all the haters WTF are you talking about? The more I watch this show the better it is, just gotta look past the shitty commentary.
I love it, just thought I would bring back an old thread for this instead of making a new one, so maybe you guys won't hate on me so much now.... |

My kids love it! They say I should go on. I am 6' 2" and 205 lbs, but I don't have the heart to tell them I would get my ass handed to me by those monsters. Their Dad would get the beat down-LOL!
On a side note, is Titan the same guy that played the 'roided Football player in The Program and Necessary Roughness? I swear it's him-although with some major facial plastic surgery work done now.
