The sad thing is, we pay to hear Bubba. Now we only get to hear half of what goes on and totally miss out on most of what hes gonna be talking about cause we don't live in Tampa. I still think the clock is ticking on the Terrestrial Radio thing. Big Fines are coming. The Pissed off Bubba's gonna slip oneday. Exhaustion can make you do things you regret. |

I don't mind paying for Bubba at all. I do feel I am missing out, but it is a fact of life that you can't always get what you want. I could move to Florida I guess, or try and get the IT guys to hook me up with a better PC (I have batted my eyelashes about it a few times, may happen someday).
I think we will miss out on not hearing the FM deal, but I am just glad that for now Bubba is still on Sirius. I would be totally fucked outta getting to hear the show if they just did the FM deal. That said I am not going to complain.
I think Bubba is gonna tell Sirius to go fuck themselves before there is a slip up on FM. He is mashing his own delay. |

| Just started listeming to a replay. He did mention that his hope was to have the show syndicated all over the country in the second year. Sure hope Sirius shows him the money next year as it will be very tough to do 2 shows a day on a long term basis. |

And unless someone agrees to this, replays of Howard or replays of Bubba. Even simulcasting Bubba's Tampa show may be better than say a show with Jon Hein that revolves around tapes (but that's not going to happen). |

Don't hold yer breath. He blew off a Bubbapalooza gig. Not only did he not show, but he left Bubba hangin' for the price of his plane tickets, hotel, etc. That's on TOP of being a redneck asshole in general. Last time somebody asked about Lasker Bubba said he'd NEVER be back, and he sounded pretty committed to that at the time too.
Personally I thought Lasker was pretty funny myself, but if somebody fucked me on a job and cost me a couple thousand bucks, I probably wouldn't want him back either., |

Sirius has laid the law down against Bubba and he can barely dunk someone in the Dunk tank at this point. Corporate has been riding his ass so hard it has taken all the energy from the show. If you tune into the morning show Bubba is happy again and it translates into good radio IMO. |

Not really. The two different shows both have their own unique feel. The morning show they were all hyped up to kick some MJ ass and the afternoon show is a bit more laid back. |

They ain't gonna simulcast the Tampa show. I very much doubt it. Bubba's "competing" with Howard now that they're both in the same timeslot. If he simulcast on Sirius (which I doubt he could even do, legally/contractually) he'd be sorta competing with himself. I know that doesn't make much sense, but Howard's a psycho-killer when it comes to other radio shows workin' mornings opposite him. Whether or not it makes sense may not even factor into it. Howard IS a little nuts after all. |

In the morning, they're probably all gimmicked up on fat-burners. They gotta be tired by the time the afternoon shows roll around. Well I'm glad they're having fun while they're forced to work double-shifts at least. Course I was almost hoping the Tampa show would suck, cuz now I feel like I'm missing out on something. And I can't miss Howard. Just can't happen. I gotta work on getting that recording thing figured out... |

The understanding I have is that the suits all love Bubba, but there's one ball-buster prick lawyer there that's got history and a real problem with Bubba and he's more or less single-handedly doin' his best to torture Bubba and the guys into leaving. I don't have the details, but that's what I've heard in broad strokes. |

I can understand corporate going down on them for some things.. but i think they have more freedom in satellite.. granted it is more conversation.. but just wait 3-4 months and see how much better the afternoon show is compared to the morning show..
Look at Ned yestreday.. he was so bottled up fro the morning show.. he went on the sursing rant at the beginning of the afternoon show. |
