Yeah, you guys have to get ahold of greddy if you want the recordings though. He's probably got 100 leechers on his seed by now. :D

I would post them but Im sure it will piss some people off, so why dont you west coasters wake up at 3a( :D ) if you really want to hear them...
icebat21
i like bubba a lot... but not as much as i like sleep at 3am
tuff bob
my recording today from jacksonville sucked, lots of pausing. I was also listening "live" via my phone and it was having the same problem. Probably another Ferrett production :(

Why would anyone be pissed off over posting a recording of a free stream of a free radio show? :D

I was able to record the stream yesterday(1-8-09) just fine, using replay av8. But for some reason it didn't record this mornings show. :( I think it might be possible that the stream got overloaded. :dontknow: I was using rock 105 stream, which from my understanding is the better stream. If I have the same problem tomorrow I'll try the bones.

That's why I've been pulling up both streams, and several hours early too.

Hey Chob, what stream do you find better? I record the show using Free Hi-Q Recorder, save it as a mp3 ,and then listen it on my ipod. I think 105 is better sound quality. But one issue on the first day using 105's feed...it shut down a couple of times, but 102.5 was fine today with shitty sound quality. Did you stream thru 105 today? If so, did it stop at all?

we've always had a no ripping off the show policy but it might be ok to share the terrestrial radio stuff. i don't know. I wonder how bubba would feel about it

I was wondering this as well?? Someone call in and ask..
Horndog
I would think it'd be fine. A no ripping off the show policy here would be because it's a subscription-based show. People are supposed to pay for the privilege. The only reason I think it might be an issue is that if recording and trading the FM show became a common practice, then it might encourage people to do the same with the Sirius show. I think they'd probably rather just take a shit on the whole deal rather than try to keep track of which recordings are legit and which aren't.

Well Mutt Its your board and I know the eggshells that you have to walk on at times BUT...The FRee FM show is FREE...It's streamed on a free website...its not the same as the Streaming that we get as a part of the Sirius Subs that we pay for every month...
g0rd0
I'm not so sure how "Free" those Free FM shows are.
Didn't Howard have to pay something like 2 million for all of his old FM show tapes?
Old FM shows are still somebody's property.
Slidejob Jones
I was wondering if we could do the same, but I'd definitely ask brent, or bubba. They said on todays show that it
"no podcast" is in their contract (with sirius, I think). This would pretty much be a podcast, so even if they dont mind, I'd think it would be a violation of their contract to give permission to others to do so.
Black Sabbath
70% done 120 kb/s speed should be done in 5min......
wwfguy2000
I'm fairly certain they don't mind if you stream and rip it just for your own use, it gets weird when you go post it somewhere for other peeps to download.

I've recorded them but Bubba said if anyone misses the morning show to contact Dave. He's been instructed to send the show if anyone misses it. At least, that's what he said on day 1.

That was in reference to Clear Channel and the Florida Family Association who are taping him. I wonder if I can bamboozle Dave Rice into thinking I'm from Clear Channel. :bigthink: :hhh:
