CALLING INTO THE SHOW: When calling into the show, there's no need to give shout outs to SFN or your friends on SFN. We don't have a ton of time so please don't waste any of it. We already have topics setup. Please be a good caller and respond to the topics. Thanks 1-888-STERN-101
GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. once you've been around for awhile ask to be on the show and pick a date. there's a schedule posted in every brainstorming thread.
GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. It's on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building on the corner of 49th & 6th in studio 21. Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in.
This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you would do when stopping by the bank. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. Don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo. Everytime one of you misbehaves, I get a new rule to follow.
You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.
You may take photos in the studio but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.
DO NOT sign the wall.
All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. |

Just today we hear about JD not being able to make it Vegas because Howard Tv couldn't come up with the scratch. I apologize Mutt, I was not checking back to see you responding. I was not the only one mentioning his name. I wish I had saved the site. The original list of staged phone calls he made to the Stern show he removed. But somebody found an archive of it or something. Just a week or so ago someone had a good thread where they quoted all the calls from his site lined up with the corresponding part of a show recap from marksfriggen. I will see if I can find the thread. I think it was titled something like "Howard does not use fake phone calls"
Again, sorry, and I will repost something when I find it. Looking forward to some real conspiracy on the conspiracy show. Since I think the howard's hair thing is dead finally |

Alright I found the link after some google searches of SFN. I couldnt find the thread where someone took them one by one and paired them with marksfriggen but this is the link to the archived page that was taken down as I remember pretty soon after everyone on here started bitching about it a few months back

I think it's awesome that we CAN rag on regulars and VIPs that's what makes the site great. Here is the problem, you have labeled HPE and ETM as VIPs. They should just be "Regular Callers". THey think they are as important as writers on the show. |

they are VIPs and are treated as such. they both however don't understand that they can't attack members without them responding and I can't get fans to not talk about things which are discussed on air. 90% of the time when ETM wants someone banned, they've done nothing but had an opinion or commented on something that was said on the show. For example, this week friends of ETM are calling for people to be banned that have posted Eric the Butt Fucker or one of the other new names Howard has given him. if the show talks about it, we're gonna. it's not them harassing VIPs. for a long time he wanted me to ban everyone that called him a midget. |

Mutt.. I completely agree with you. It is well within our rights as posters to comment on things that the show has been discussing. that is the reason you created these forums. I have said it multiple times over the past few days.. Eric has too thin of skin and cannot take the "ribs" that are being dished out on here. If I were him I would be giving them right back out, all in the name of good fun. He just cannot take a joke. if he cannot take a joke then mabye him boycotting the boards is a good thing. The people are not gonna stop just because he doesn't like it. If anything it is gonna fuel more comments.. Eric just needs to grow up and develop a better sense of humor, and tougher skin. |

ETM is used to the bullshit from his little -- censored --.assbag channel where anyone who says anyhting he doesn't like gets kicked. (Three times in three days myself.) I wasn't even busting their balls. They don't allow any questioning of policies of the Frado regime.

It's no secret that I dislike Robin, and last week when they were ripping on Riley, I called and got through and told Robin she's talentless and Riley is infinately better than her and called her the human laugh track.
So this past weekend I was doing some work on my cars and I listened to the replays all day and sure enough, my call was completely NOT THERE. I've never before thought that they'd edit things out of The Show but I must admit I was pretty weirded out by that.
I'm almost 95% certain that my call wans't replayed. THAT will never be brought up on The Show either. Not in relation to me, 'cuz I'm a no one, but in general. Do they chop up the Replays on purpose?
Anyway, back to Tim Sabien. It WAS fucked up that he bought the competition AND that her completely dicked over Scott the Engineer who frankly is MUCH more integral to The Show than Tim Sabien is.
Tim is the PD, however, how much work do you do if the same shows have been on for the past 2 years??? How much material has Tim inspired over the years? Vs. Scott?
Nevermind that some people apparently had their Ipods personalised with their names, like Gary.
It's ludicrous, I tell's ya. |

Stiletto 2 comes with a microSD card slot as well as memory enough for up to 100 hours of recording.
I would imagine the HOHS, which ran 4 days, would fit with plenty of room to spare. |

i always wear and play my ipod nano when i go in to the city and always felt guilty if i had it on when going up to The Studios @ Sirius to do a Show. |

I use my Treo. Thanks to our very own Bitslap, I have Sirius for WM5 on my phone, so I can listen to The Show no matter where I am. |

Scott is definately belligerent and a bully. Granted, Jason IS a little bit weasly, and he talks alot of shit, but for DePace to think that Jason owes him an apology for there to be ANY peace between them is simply retarded.
Speaking from experience, being a director isn't all that hard. You simply chose the shot with the person who's the most relevant at any given moment, and that's all there is.
DePace isn't setting up bits, setting people up on marks and cues, etc.. He simply shoots what others do.

EXACTLY Boots... I work on the bottom floor of a building so I dont get a signal for my stiletto. and our phone calls are recorded so i cant do internet. I go to school so I record the shows and listen LIVE when I can and then listen to the rest in the afternoon. I keep up as I can.
I have been listening to the show for over 10 years. I started listening in middle school when i would have my long bus rides to school. my bus driver was a stern fan and piped in the Cincinnati affiliate feed every morning. I caught on from there.
Im coming to NYC in June for a vacation and have been given the opportunity to go on SFRT when I come up. Im excited as can be.. as a long time fan it is nice to finally get to show my support.. other than posting on the boards here.
I have logos all over my desk at work and it turns out my manager here at work is also a Stern fan and has Sirius.. I told him im going on SFRT and he couldn't believe it. He is one of like 3 people I can have a stern conversation with here.. im trying to find other people that live in or around Cincinnati to connect up with.. it would be nice to have people i can share my love of the show with here in the area as well as with people like you on this form... |

I have logos all over my desk at work and it turns out my manager here at work is also a Stern fan and has Sirius.. I told him im going on SFRT and he couldn't believe it. He is one of like 3 people I can have a stern conversation with here.. im trying to find other people that live in or around Cincinnati to connect up with.. it would be nice to have people i can share my love of the show with here in the area as well as with people like you on this form... |

| What about "why sirius hides the show ratings". They have web stats and a group that can apparently track what people are listening too? I would like to know how many listeners shows like BTLS, Riley, SFRT, Miserable Men, Ferrall and Jokehunt get?? The only reason they would hide them is so they don't have to pay. Imagine Howard never knowing what his "share" was on regular radio? |

i will definitley have to do that. i got my sirius hoodie which I wear alot.. nice and comfortable.. im a pro wrestling referee and travel alot. i like to wear stuff to support things I beleve in since people see me alot.. I wanna support the stern show in any way I can.. just my love of the show and everyone involved in it..
someone should try and get permission to start a line of clothing or something. |

Who gets paid for HowardTV? Howard constantly mentions that the Richard/ Sal gay stuff is constantly the most viewed programming. Do Richard and Sal get extra money for that?
Does anyone on the Staff get paid to be on HowardTV? It's another income stream that's completely seperate from Sirius. |

well i assumed that since you were all worked up about eel man, you'd know what I was looking for from the first conspiracy show
the conspiracy is that the stern show pays people to make fake calls.
what we have here is an unknown person who says he placed setup calls to the show. this is completely possible. I'm sure lots of people call in with bullshit stories. what i don't have is any info saying that the stern show was in on it, paid for them, etc. nowhere on that page of his does he even claim that. he says he booked guests for the stern show but then they are all just people who called in. nowhere does he says he got paid or anything like that.
what i'm saying is, this isn't any kind of proof. now if we could get the guy on the phone, that would be a different thing.
has anyone emailed him and tried to confirm any of the allegations?
i've read over his entire website and nowhere does it say anything about calls being fake or actors. he says he's a booking agent and finds interesting guests with bizarre stores. if anything, this site is proof that the calls are NOT fake. the section about actors makes it sound like they are guest characters for a show and not setup calls. it's more of a comdian trying to get work.

Well the fact that the page I linked to was taken down is suspicious. Also all of the calls follow the same formula. Howard gets the story and then he has phone callers talk shit on them. The vomiting daughter call followed the electric eel formula. I always said I think this guy just calls the show to have something to put on his resume. However Howard isnt stupid. He should be able to see right through these phony calls. If you remember the vomiting daughter call Artie made one joke in the beginning then didnt say a word. I think he knew it was bullshit and didnt want to be a part of it. I think there is certainly enough for it to atleast be a topic on the show. yeah, it's planned for 1/31. i picked that date a long time ago thinking we'd have a bunch of topics by then. I talked to jason this week about it and we weren't really sure if we had enough yet. I dont' want to push the show. i'd rather do it when we have a bunch of stuff that fans are worked up about like you are about the fake calls. i'm told jason i was going to try and get my list together. if it's weak, we might push it off another month.
right now we have
- fake phone calls. you'd be good for this one. I need some stuff to go with it but we should be able to get lots of calls about it. there are tons of calls that people think are fake. i'd like to get the eel guy on the phone or at least get an email comment from him.
- the real reason Billy West doesn't do the show. Gay Tony is all worked up about this one. I'm not sure if anyone else cares but he's so strong about it, I want to do it. Gary has already given us his comments & tony found an article where billy talks about it.
- mike walker hush money. I like this one but don't think there's much we could do with it. it's like the ralph has something on Howard theory. how the hell do we prove or disprove it?
- win john's job was rigged. i find it hard to believe that people are still wroked up abotu this but it was a hot topic back in the day. we might be able to get comments from other people in the contest.

I certainly do appreciate this Ignatius' enthusiam, but take it from me bro, you're coming across as a psycho.
Let's say Mutt addresses this... Then what? He'll talk about it for a minute, but with no fresh information, what's the outcome? It's a baseless accusation from a website that was taken down for any number of possible reasons, including the guy simply not paying his bills.
Meanwhile, IF the calls were faked, how is that a bad thing? No one changed their life because of a call to The Show.
If it was entertaining, then it met it's goal. Unless you can find something to move this story along, I say it's only worthy of a footnote on the Conspiracy show. It airs on the 31st, so you have 2 weeks to dig something up and present it. |

Mutt, I would add one more facet to the Jason/ Will fight. While the rest of the crew was knee deep into it, and new accusations and dimensions being added throughout the discussion, all the sudden Howard decided to bail. In the past, Howard would have let the drama continue it's natural course. What's different today? Any Stern fan wouldn't at the very least mind listening to infighting like that.
I'm not sure, but I think the fight happened later in the morning. Was Howard impatient and ended the fight because he wanted to leave? |
