I heard the producer Scott Wapner, of this CNBC documentary on WEEI today. They look at the team from a business model, Bob Kraft gave them unprecedented access. CNBC doesn't do these hour long documentaries often, according to the producer they have done them on McDonalds, Wallmart, E-Bay and other major corporations.

it would seem that way, but it's a CNBC piece so they look at the team from a business model viewpoint

the success of the patriots is due to the fact that they dont waste their valuable 1st round picks. you dont waste your 1st round pick with a offensive lineman or for that matter anyone. coach b drafts atheltic guys that can move, THEN teaches them how to block/play the game.why give up 10 million dollar slot in the draft when u dont even know if they can play. give that pick up for 3 or 4 players in the second and third rounds that dont demand money till they make the team. THese players have the ability, not the training. its common sense. business.
