Listening to the replay, Attila the Hun or whatever her name is, is on right now. So annoying, and she seems like she's just putting on an act to get airtime. This constant "coo-coo" sound drop is lame too. Why does Bubba waste time on this lame ass caller?
Then there's CP Trav. I haven't heard him on in a while and I'm glad. He sounds like some retarded guy who's really not retarded...so in actuality he has nothing going for him. Does anyone really care about this guy?
And last and least, B Fudd. I have to admit his jolly spirits were nice to hear, but it's really getting old now. I believe he answers the call like that on purpose, just because he knows it gets a kick out of Bubba and crew. And wasn't this guy not retarded at all?... so why does he now call himself midly retarded? Seems like a cheap way to make himself interesting. Bubba puts him on way too much. Once every month would be fine.
What irks me is these people are just normal, attention-hungry people who may have a slight physical impairment. Their airtime needs to be cut down a lot, and only put on when they have something interesting to say. |

Yes I like him too in small doses. Never really considered him a wackpacker though.
If they call up with something interesting to say, then sure go ahead let's hear it. If they call up and wait for Bubba to say "So ____, what did you do today?"... that's not what I want to hear. |

| I'm done with CP Trav and B Fudd. Both of them are like conversations with Tyler. Just Bubba saying something to them and having them say it back. Attila is funny for the simple fact that she can get the guys on the chip. For someone that's an apparent lawyer and fan, she really doesnt know how to work. |

This is the real difference between Bubba and Howard. Howard's "wackpack" is made up of real people, Bubba's whole show seems to be all about how to "bamboozle" the audience. We never new what was real and not real, from Ned on down. Is the whole show from start to finish a "shoot"? With Howard, it's all real and true all the time. With Bubba...........is it all BS all the time?
Just asking....I personally like it real...Howard learned a long time ago, that "truth is stranger than fiction" Bubba seems to think "fiction is stranger than truth". |

| I think there is alot of B@$$a listeners out there that if no matter what B@$$a does, they will shit on it. Atilla was a cunt and most likely will never be on the show again. I can see why she is shit on, but the whack packers in general are just for content good or bad they are time. I for the most part think they are kind of neat to listen too. |

CP Trav is horrible, I dont see what bubba sees in interviewing him except just to fill some content. Bfud i like usually but it gets old after a while, maybe like once per week would be nice.
Atilla is cool because she goes off and her and Spice talk shit the whole time. But i agree with people, Lasker is the man we need him back. |

From the reaction Bubba had last week, it sounds personal. I don't know that the marks wanting something will change his mind. This all started after the first Bubbapaloooza (Bamboozelfest) where Gene stood up the guys and the fans that were expecting to see him. I am totally speaking out of my ass now, but if my friends can't be loyal, then they can't be friends. I miss his hillbilly ass too, but I have given up on hearing him on the show again.
If he ever does bring Lasker back, I will be happy to be wrong, but I ain't bettin no money on it. |

I am not sure what all went down but I did see a blog about that night and Gene did not want to be the one to do nigger jokes as he said Bubba had scripted out for him. Yea Gene should have called Bubba or someone. I don't know the rest of the details but I do miss Mean Gene.
Bubba can hold a grudge for a long time now.
Bubba Man Law , talk to Bubba before the shit hits the fan and if it does talk to Bubba anyway to clear the air. :beer: |

Hopefully I have the facts right here, this is as I remember it........
"Scripted out for him"......yeah, it's a SHOW, and it is scripted. Not something I'd personally want to do out in public either, but it didn't exactly go against the grain of THE Gene Lasker either. Following Gene's "script", 25 was to do his bit which was a direct heat reversal of Gene. What did a no-call, no show do? Left an open slot where Gene was supposed to be, and also rendered 25's bit worthless with little to no time to come up with new material. This was their FIRST show of this kind, so there was already a HUGE amount of pressure on the guys before that huge wrench got thrown in it.
To salt the wound even further, after the no-call-no-show, someone on Gene's behalf (there was proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling) blogged on BTLS saying that this role doesn't represent who the real Gene Lasker is, etc.
As much as I love and miss that big, dumb, hotheaded hillbilly.....I can't fault Bubba for feeling pretty wronged over how the whole crew was left out to dry, and publicly blamed someone else for the personality Gene himself spent years to establish. BAD move Gene, but I bet he realizes that by now.....he lost his dearest friend over some poor, stupid, hillbilly judgment.
That said.....my own personal opinion is that he added (directed to or not) a great, crazy element to the show. Ripping on him, and setting him up with one thing after another to bust his balls was priceless. He took the bait every time......"Just got an email from Sport Allen....." The other side of the coin....the vids on bubba raw of Gene speaking of his father and upbringing are heartwrenching. He's a tough guy to be able to somehow work to make it to another day with all of the problems, and difficult life trials he's been through.
Ah well.......I'd love to see him back, but understand why he isn't.

Mi, I wouldn't suggest bothering Gene at his business, especially regarding things that frankly....are none of our business. It's probably a bad idea posting his number on here as well. Let the guy have some privacy.
I'm unaware of the exact date, but I believe we are approaching the one year date of when Gene and his wife lost their daughter......I still come close to tearing up when remembering him speak of him and his wife dealing with their loss. Maybe sending them a card instead of bothering him over other things wouldn't be such a bad idea. |

The number I posted is from the web. Do a quick Google for Gene and you will find a million hits for his shop.
And trust me, I never thought it would be a good idea to call and harass him. Not only would it be bad taste, but would probably end up in an asskicking.
I am sure they have their reasons for Gene not appearing on the show, but Gene set the bar for guests on the show.
I get a kick out of CP, B-Fud and Pop-Rockin'n the Puss, but they ain't no substitute Gene Lasker. |
