the conspiracy's are kinda weak. Unless i come up with some great ideas, we might just have to do a regular show.
THE CHAIR
- Is there any way Doug didn't know Howard wouldn't get mad about sitting his kid in the chair?
- Is Howard right, crazy, or both?
- What are other similar blunders? (Mutt private party photos, Cabbie porno, Sal megaphone, etc)
- Howard says there's no reason to sit in his chair except to disrespect him. Doesn't everyone want a photo in his chair and is disrespecting Howard part of the equation?
WEDDING TALK AGAIN
- Howard wants to keep the wedding down to 80 people but BethO already has a much longer list. Then what about celebrities?
- Fred's has a 2nd tier plan for a second party for the underlings with video simulcast of the 1st tier party. Would people be insulted that they didn't make the 1st tier cut or be happy that arrangements were made to include them in the celebration?
- Most watched Howard TV moment? I mean if they are videoing it anyway for the 2nd tier people, why not produce a HTV special? Would Howard & Beth allow it?
- Beth wants to have condomless sex!!!! Did I mention she's not on the pill........ something about the baby

The Stern Fan Conspiracy's
I'm not saying these are true. These are just theories that fans have.
So I've been pushing off the follow up conspiracy show until we had a good list of topics and information and I'm going to push it off some more. too much has happened this week.
NUMBER OF LISTENERS / RATINGS - scratched, arbitrons have come out. conspiracy proved
THE REAL REASON BILLY WEST DOESN’T DO THE SHOW (http://www.sternfannetwork.com/foru...threadid=294710)
Gary does not book Billy West on the show because the reason real Billy had to leave the show was because Tom wanted him to sign an agreement making him solely responsibly for all Marge Shot jokes even the ones written by the rest of the staff. (Tony is very passionate about this one and I have a comment from Gary but is anyone else worked up about this one?)
PRODUCT PLACEMENT
The weekly "I love Howard TV" calls are setup calls to promote the channel. They are built in commercials from Howard TV staff. (if we figured out who the fans are that make these calls, we could question them.)
WIN JOHN’S JOB
The voting was rigged in the Win John's Job contest and Richard Christy was the pre-determined winner before the competition even began. (this one is pretty damn old. I beleive this one but is anyone still worked up about it?)
WIN FRED’S MONEY
Fred cheats during Win Fred’s Money. He knows the questions and answers ahead of time. (I don't have any clue how to get to the bottom of this.)
MIKE WALKER HUSH MONEY
Mike Walker segments are done every week to keep the Enquirer off of Howard's case and out of the tabloids. (I suppose we could question mike but I don't see us getting to the bottom of anything)
FAKE CALLERS
Some of the crazier phone calls are actually fake setup calls from paid actors & the show has been doing it for years. (we could list calls that we feel are fake but that doesn't mean that they were paid for by the show. I don't even know who to talk to about it.)

GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. once you've been around for awhile ask to be on the show and pick a date. there's a schedule posted in every brainstorming thread.
GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. It's on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building on the corner of 49th & 6th in studio 21. Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in.
This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you would do when stopping by the bank. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. Don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo. Everytime one of you misbehaves, I get a new rule to follow.
You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.
You may take photos in the studio but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.
DO NOT sign the wall.
All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. |

My memory is sketchy but if you covered it on the last show then ignore this...
Fred purposely omits sending on positive Jackie emails to Howard because of his anger/resentment of how Jackie left the show.
Even today during the WUS Gary said (in response/addition to Levy offering Jackie a gig at his club topic) that he receives a lot of email about/concerning Jackie's stand up appearances. Which would lead on to believe that Fred is getting those same emails but today's mention by Gary seems to be the first bit of proof that such emails are sent in frequently enough to be taken notice of. |

the emails gary was talking about are the mailer that jackie sends out to promote his gigs. I get them too. it has nothing to do with fan email.

Sal, Richard, et al, work a 5-day work week and could come on for an hour or two after MTT on H100 or do something on H101 during Bubba's old time slot.

Is Howard being more judgemental in his old age?
It is used to be that howard would have some interesting person on who's work/ lifestyle was unconventional and Howard, being the unique and amazing interviewer that he is, would create compelling and fascinating radio out of it.
Lately, however, one of his first questions to porn stars is something along the lines of why would you be doing such a lowlife scumbag job?
Today when he was interviewing the rubberband man, he started lecturing him on how he was completely wasting his life, instead of celebrating the fact that it's interesting people LIKE the rubberband guy that make this world worth living in.
If it were up to the new Howard, everyone would go from their house to their job, and straight back home. No one would travel, play games, have sex with strange women, drink, do drugs, try anything new, etc... It would be a world of cardboard with no color, it seems.

I think Howard's arguments FOR condoms like they allow him to hold out, germs, etc... are all bullshit. The ONLY reason he likes the rubbers is because HE'S in control of reproduction, not Beth.
She could be on the pill, and she could simply stop taking it without telling Howard and bam, preggo. I wish he wopuld just be honest about it on the air instead of putting out those odd reasons he usually talks about.

excellent question..SFRT is the best 7:00 pm show on the channels IMO..with or w/o Joey..as for Mutts loyalty it is obvious based on how some of the V.I.P.s act around here that Mutt has more loyalty towards them..then they do towards him..right HPE?? |

as for Boots, he was great on the show. there were some issues from time to time BUT he was a valuable member of the team. i honestly wish he'd come in and be a part of the show some time. I know he can't afford to do it every week but if we could get him from time to time, I think the fans would like it.
as for Tony, it's not loyalty. i just sorta like the guy and thought he was good on the show. whether he can follow our rules here on sfn is a whole other issue. I don't want to let some SFN stuff interfere with the show so account here or not is irrelevant. |
