Come on, 18 and FUCKING 0 vs a 12 point underdog?

Yankees are still the bigger choke artists. Losing a series when you have a 3-0 series lead is inexcusable.
James T. Kirk
The Patriots losing tonight is a huge dissapointment. It's pretty bad for the "Nation" tonight.
ArtieRules100
Yanks are the bigger chockers.
They chocked on a cock in '04.
Wonka1
I think it's equally as big
Apoc13
it's big but not as big...if only because the pats weren't winning big during the game...but it certainly gives ny'ers ammo to fight back with
nuge67
A.Lang=Crazy
Patriots lost 1 game instead of losing 3 in a row. Still both choked, but I would say the Giants won the game instead of the Patriots losing the game unlike what the Yankees did.
JaredDiceCramer
Yeah...I am a Yanks fan, but they still choked way harder than the Pats did. The Pats played a great team who stood toe to toe with them for an entire game.

The Yanks just lost to a bunch of fuckin' fags...that's choking if I've ever seen it.
EconPhenom
Twelve Point Underdog?? Anyone with a lick of sense knew that that line was bogus. Shit, I'd have bet it if the payoff wasn't so skimp. I'm much happier with my Giants by 1-6 points bet and the moneyline bet I placed. But TWELVE POINTS was laughable; funny that you used it as a basis for your argument.
NiceFace
are u outta ur tree??..lol
NOTHINGGG will ever be equal to the Yankees choking on boston cock in 04.
hahh.(nothinggg.)
Rammstein Musik
just another meaningless regular season record if you don't win it all. much like the 2001 Seattle Mariners with a record 116 wins but then they lost to the Yankees in the ALCS.
Shark58
both were legendary in their respective sports

Yankees are a bigger choke.

New England patriots were considered the GREATEST TEAM OF ALL TEAM. This si the football equivalent pf that. keepp defelcting. Perfect no More.

^ Deflecting? I'm a Yankees fan...

I think if the Pats play the Giants 7 times they win 5 games...

The Yankees lost 4 straight, much harder to do than one game.

Haha...simmer down and enjoy the win...Vega is not even a pats fan...

The yankees lost 4 games in a row and they were considered the favorites. Yes, the pats were 18-0 and choked in the last game, but we are not watching our team choke 4 nights in a row ;) The worse 18-1 season EVER

Unfortunately, this Ramm here is right. Who really remembers the 116 wins.

I'm feeling like this is as big of a choke as 04' yankees. It's close.

One 60 minute football game is a lot different than 36 innings of baseball, four games. The Yankees were up 3-0 and winning the game in the bottom of the 9th of game 4, when the Sox came back to win that game, then game 5, 6, and 7, the last two on the Yankees home field.

The two don't even compare, the Yankees blew a 3 games to none lead, which had never been done in MLB before. Greatest Comeback Ever, and Biggest Choke Ever, belong to the Red Sox, and Yankees.
Pussah2
PERFECT NO MORE. You still going to the parade up in boston.

You going to parade in NY? Post the pics when you get back, keyboard fan. :jj:

DVR'ing it  Are you going to have your streamers and banners in your living room while you watch in on your DVR? :funny:

Why aren't you going to the parade??? You're such a big fan, nothing should be stopping you, take the day off of work and go!! I'm sure Johnni will be going as he now is the biggest Giants fan that SFN has ever seen!!! Carpool with him if you can't afford the gas.

Do you have a date that you can't break? Or is your ex-wife going and she's forcing you to watch the kids. :jj:

I have never been to any parade of any team. I have to work.

Sick day, personal day, vacation day. If you were such a huge fan, you'd find a way to go. Work is no excuse.

Hey dickbag. If you knew anything about sports and visited the Giants thread FROM PRESEASON ON. You'd know I was in there all the time with Scottsalem fan, Maximus, Pussah and some other randoms. It's been since the 70's that I missed a game dickbag. I know for a fact you can't say the same with the lousy Pats teams of yester year. So swallow your bitter pill you fucking LOSER.

Jump off now from that overloaded bandwagon you all all the other front runners are on. If you hurry you can say you've been a big Celtics fan all year long.

By the way, dickbag, go into the Philly threads, the Dallas threads, the Seahawks threads to see me ALL YEAR LONG supporting my team BITCH.

Watch where you jump off the wagon as to not hit too many Pats fans on the way off. :hs:

I like and still watch both since the early 80's but have always been more of a giants fan. When did I ever say I was more of a jets fan just because I post about them. Its the one sport I like 2 teams and mentioned this many times especially when questoned by king on what my loyalty is to my teams.

Been a Jets fan since the sack exchange. Been a Giants fan since a couple years before their 1986 Super Bowl win.

only thing is in football 1 game is equal to about 6-10 games of baseball (16 game schedule vs 162, 1 game per week vs. 6-7 games week) IMO..... so it is a big impact & it was the superbowl... big choke... but with that said not quite as big as yankees choke in 2004 :(
a very close second IMO

although this will go down in history - similar fashion as the mariners 116 wins....

That doesn't say much for your beloved Yankees.

Fact is, 18-0 with a chance to be the greatest football team ever and they BLEW IT!!!

Impossible....2004 Yankees was the biggest choke IN THE HISTORY OF SPORTS!!

That is a fact!

After Brady's choke last year in the AFC Champinship game and the Pats choking this year, 2004 seems so long ago!!!!

It might seem long ago, but it was still the biggest choke in the history of pro sports.

I love how 2004 seems like so long ago ,but the Yankees 26 World Championships were recent......riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight :hw:

Very true... 26 titles IS something to be proud of, but 2004 is something you can never live down.

The biggest chokers ever were the 2001 Seattle Mariners. 116 wins (all-time record) and they didn't even make the World Series.
KingOfAllWhites
Not 1 person in their right mind expected Seattle to make it to the WS in 2001.

I dont care if they won 150 games, they were not getting past the Yankees. The whole world knew that!

You're right. Even though the M's only lost one regular season series the entire year, anybody in their right mind knew that they had no chance in the playoffs. Hey if you want to admit that the 2004 Yankees were the biggest chokers then that is perfectly fine with me.

Of course they were the biggest chokers. That was arguably the biggest choke in the history of pro sports. You can not forget that they lost games 6 and 7 AT HOME. I dont believe a team has come back from 3-0 deficit, lost the series and the last 2 games at home.

Anybody who watched baseball knew the Mariners were not built for the Yankees. The Yankees starting pitchers and whole team were built for the playoffs. They were destined to win it all that year. Until the great Luis Gonzalez decided to change that
nuge67
It may not be the biggest choke ever, but boy oh boy does 18-1 with DICK to show for it hurt!!
